  1. Minty is in shock that I've never seen the Matrix.

  2. Yes. Playing StarFox 64 right now trying to get all the medals. This game is so furry. It's the one thing I hate about it.
  3. I thought Fable III was great, despite everything I liked about Fable II being taken out. It was fun to hear the stupid shit people say and do the goofy quests while listening to goofy things.
  4. If I'm not playing a tank, I'm playing as a bard.
  5. Willow from the NES. My first PC game was Commander Keen. My first SNES game was Super Mario World. First N64 game was Goldeneye 64. First PSOne game was Gran Turismo. First Dreamcast game was NFL2K1. First PS2 game was the Mark of Kri. First Xbox game was Halo. First Xbox 360 game was Oblivion. First PS3 game was MLB 10 The Show.
  6. Jeremy Roenick fucking murdered everyone.
  7. Ethan brought his negative rep to publicity. I just realized I have a green rep. Very odd.

    1. Commander Shepard

      Commander Shepard

      Neutral is the new cool.

  8. I'm glad someone else besides Ethan and I do.
  9. I will second Ninja Gaiden 2 as well as Ninja Gaiden (from the Xbox) I have played through and beaten Kaizo Super Mario Worlds one and two. I've also played through I Wanna Be the Guy and got all the way up to past Dracula. Fuck the rest of that game. Though real games and stuff like that, I'll throw my hat to Demon's Souls as well as Mega Man 3. Mega Man 3 is easily the hardest Mega Man game of them all.
  10. It's the second best JRPG ever, VI that is. The first being Legend of Legaia (Swooooon)
  11. Cort throws a fucking moon on you.
  12. So the Invision Device app is the website on the phone put into an app.

      deanb

Pretty much. From the screens of it I've seen it has a couple other functions too. But won't miss much if you don't have the app.

    2. Mudkip3DS

      Mudkip3DS

That analogy can pretty much be used for every single iPad magazine out there: It's a PDF put into an app.

  13. Arrr but it's too good. I've never put up a sports game as game of the year. Never. But this game is so good for being what it is. Where's Vincent, I know he agrees with me.
  14. Not sure why, but I loved Snake Eater's intro movie (which I can't find) and the James Bond sequence. Him pulling off the mask once he had finished the HALO jump and all that I also enjoyed Halo 3's with Master Chief falling to the earth with Cortana talking. THen Kaizo Super Mario World's intro.
  15. Well FIFA does have a more far reaching appeal than NBA. (If the N n the I don't give that away) That doesn't make it a better game. As I said. Whether you're interested in basketball or not, this game is a technical achievement for being realistic in it's motions and gameplay. It is a top game of 2010, regardless of how you feel about sports.
  16. What would you FIIIIIIIX?! Also.. Obsidian. They make such ambitious projects and always crash land when they leave the gate. I had to listen to you for a full month, Obsidian, whoring out this game. "Obsidian has always made great RPG's." Fucking LIARS.
  17. NBA 2K11 is the best damned sports game ever made. Whether you are interested in sports or not, it should be on every "Best of 2010" list this year.
  18. I've made NightShift Nurse angry now. Fucking tool.

  19. In this thread, we speak about sequels we wish would be made and what we would fix most about them. So not sequels that are coming out already, but rather ones you know won't come out. Personally, I would love to see a sequel to Star Wars: Republic Commando. One in which you must go back and save Sev and then take part in random missions throughout the Clone Wars (before they sucked). There are many things I loved about this games and a few I really hated. For one, the squad placement was fine, though no matter what hostility setting your members were set to, they were mostly belligerent. Better squad AI (Somewhat similar to Rainbow Six Vegas' squad AI) would be something more helpful and also allow the developers to pile on more shit to murder you throughout the game. It'd be nice also to see them have a better use out of their talents. If Fixer goes down, Scorch nor Sev should be able to hack databases. And if they can, they should make it so Fixer is the one who hacks it faster or has some kind of bonus to hacking since that was his main profession. The same goes for bombardment belonging to Scorch and sniping belonging to Sev. One thing I noticed throughout Republic Commando was that most people could do everything. Your squad was supposed to have their own specific talents with you being the Jack of All Trades, yet everyone could do anything. There were many times when Fixer was down for me yet I was able to hack into turrets and all that. It should be made more realistic in the sense that the squad should be harmed if one of their specialists go down. Most likely they went down to one of the seven weapons given to you throughout the game. I get it, the pistol regens, the rifle is your normal weapon and there's one special weapon held by each race of creatures. I get it. I really do. Though in the Star Wars universe, there are literally tons of different weapons available. It'd be nice if the game were to introduce more of a variant of weapons or even something like a custom loadout like the aforementioned Rainbow Six. One where you can customize not only your armor (while keeping your designated squad colors of orange, green, yellow, and red) but your weapons and ammo as well. It'd be a nice touch. Especially to an elite infiltration unit who should have accesses to resources and weapons of every caliber. The multiplayer was always fine enough to stand on it's own, though what I loved most about the game that was not focused on enough was the camaraderie of the group. There should be more interaction between the characters and more dialogue from them. It's the mix of characters and their personalities that could even make the game for certain people. The best way for me to relate to how they would react with each other is best described by relating them to the Cable-Deadpool team up for their series of novels. We had Cable's serious attitude with the polar opposite of Deadpool. Fixer is a military officer in armor and Scorch is a Ferris Bueller with explosives, with Sev being the Murdock of the group and Boss being Hannibal. It's a team of opposite personalties that work together. So, yeah. I want a Republic Commando sequel. What do YOU want?
  20. No I've done this daily several times before in four casts.
  21. I just wasted about two hours watching Natalie Portman go insane.

  22. The first game I ever played was Willow for the NES.
  23. Well I brought up the point that when more than 50% of your series sucks that your series sucks in general.
