First of all this isn't open yet, just thought I'd compile stuff as n when things trickle in.

 

Nintendo:

New Nintendo HD console

Wii HD

 

Sony:

NGP gets a proper name

NGP gets a price

New Playstation console

Mass Effect 3 shown off at Sony Conference

PS3 price drop

Move price drop

Final Fantasy XIII Versus dated

Metal Gear HD Collection

 

Microsoft:

New Xbox console

360 price drop

Kinect price drop

Final Fantasy XII-2 shown off/dated

 

Everyone else:

Apple announce a console

Grand Theft Auto V announced/trailered.

None are confirmed. If they were confirmed it'd be a bit boring to bet on.

So if I understand correctly, these are the rumors and we're going to bet on which rumors we think will turn out to be true, right? So this is not like the E3 Predictions thread we had last year?

It's somewhat like the predictions thread. Predictions thread could also work I guess. Thing is this year around we have things to bet with. Though maybe could work something in with prediction thread.

 

And some are rumours, some are things I've just chucked in that tend to be an inevitability.

 

 

right I've added a poll, see if you can vote.

 

Basically if we do betting it'll be in the format of something like this:

Nintendo:

New Nintendo HD console 1/5

Wii HD 1/5

 

Sony:

NGP gets a proper name 1/2

NGP gets a price 1/3

New Playstation console 1/15

Mass Effect 3 shown off at Sony Conference 1/15

 

If we do predictions it'd be something like:

- Get up to 10 predictions per conference then a final list of random stuff.

- A correct guess nets you $5

- A no show nets you $0

- A wrong guess nets you -$2

 

e.g you predict:

"Mass Effect 3 trailer and date at Sony conference"

 

If the trailer is shown off at sony conference you get $5

If it's not shown at all, then no loss

if it's shown off at the MS conference, then -$2

 

It's a few months away so things can be ironed out. Just essentially something to make use of $TAY (Also by then I'll of been able to add some extra stuff for them) and make E3 a bit more interesting.
