Disappointing Games?

Everyone's had them. You wait months, even years for THAT game and then 2 hours into it, and you've lost the will to ever play a video game again.

Now the first game that came into my head was Brutal Legend. I'd heard so much good stuff about that game, but when i turned it on i found myself bored inside an hour. The main game was enjoyable, but i was left cold. Aside from Jack Black being awesome, and some decent Storylines, nothing happened.

Anyways. What are some of your biggest disappointments in gaming?

Prince of Persia, the latest game in the series. I think it's the one released close to the movie.

Also, Prince of Persia 2008. The artsy one where you never die.

Compare that to Sands of Time. Which was awesome until the end. Hell that Trilogy I loved them so much, even though people hate on Warrior Within a lot.

I dont know whether Im easy to please, or im just the type of person to like stuff others dont, but Im not easily disappointed with my purchases.

I will say one game I was disappointed in after hearing all the hype - Half Life 2. The first 2 hours are awesome, but then the jetski section comes along and ruins the entire game. That section never ends. Then you get to the zombie part and I just gave up. It was good, but that part also lasted forever.

Red Orchestra 2 for me. I preordered it, hoping to really get into it before the Battlefield/CoD crowd heard about it as the "next big thing", and it was completely unplayable for nearly a year after release. Bugs everywhere, terrible optimization, and completely broken progression across the board. Played it recently in the free weekend they had, but it still wasn't all that great, but definitely better. Completely unfathomable as to why they would put a rank/progression/unlock system in a game and then not even fix it when it horribly breaks. But, eh, Tripwire, I guess.

I was extremely disappointed with Too Human, though luckily a shipping delay to my area meant no stores had it on release day and I ended up renting it instead of buying it.

I may be the only human that enjoyed Too Human. :P

On topic, Lollipop Chainsaw, I was expecting it to be as fun as Shadows of the Damned, but it failed, so far the jokes aren't funny, the gameplay needs improvement, a lot of combos need to be unlocked wich is annoying considering how hard it is to get the medals you need to buy them, some events can't be skipped no matter how many times you've played a level and Juliet's voice is annoying. :P However some say that the game gets better later on, I'll keep playing to see if it's true.
