deanb
https://www.everquestnext.com/ So it all seems to be mostly hype and hyperbole at the moment but could be worth following. It's gonna be F2P which'll be probably the first major MMO in a while to start out that way. It seems in part to be causing excitement due to it being somewhat minecraft like in nature, destructible/buildable terrains and such. Oh and "emergent AI", which'll likely never function as claimed (we all remember Radiant AI?) http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2013/08/02/first-look-everquest-next/
Vecha
Might be the first MMO, besides planetside 2, that'll play at/around launch.
deanb
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdgPuEl5Nuk huh, didn't realise they'd put up a video (Though gauging the views I doubt many folks did)
Saturnine Tenshi
Took a look at this sometime last week. Eh, it's too early to tell, really. I'm not too fond of the stylized characters, but I'll have to wait and see some other examples before making a decision on that.
madbassman39
The stylized characters are what have me most interested. The combat looks like GW2 combat, but the characters attacked slower and didn't move out of the way of the attacks, which leads me to believe that there isn't a dodge option or its more like a classical hotbar style fighting. The world destruction seems really neat, and hopefully it means something instead of eventually returning to what it was before you made a giant hole in the ground. Everquest was my first MMO and because of that I have this attachment to the franchise that no other game has ever managed to capture (although Elder Scrolls is a very close second even if it is not an MMO). I want to go back and mess around in Norrath, but I want it to be seamless, boundary less and to be exactly how they describe this game. I am excited, but skeptical.
