SOMA

All that Amnesia craze somehow flew over my head but I had my eyes fixed on this next project by Frictional Games as soon as I learned it will be in the sci-fi genre (which is right up my alley). So far I'm about halfway through and one thing that's worth noting is that if anybody expected another flood of Let's Play videos with shrieking idiots damaging our hearing, I think you will be disappointed. Soma has it's tense moments but it's far from being terryfying. If anything, it's a beautiful and gloomy game with fantastic story to tell. To be honest I almost wish the game wouldn't have any action sequences involving robot monsters, because they just get in the way when I try to enjoy the puzzles, the environments and the narrative.
