deanb
So seems the PS3 emulator is making some strides Obviously some visual glitches, but it runs and seems to mechanically be sound. Some of your bigger hurdles there. Kind of always figured the PS3 as unemulatable.
MetalCaveman
That's really cool, never expected to see a PS3 emulator. \m/ \m/
Eleven
I tried it out and played Scott Pilgrim vs The World. 15-60 FPS on my PC, but it's pretty cool that I could run it. It's one of the fully playable games in their compatibility list, but I guess that doesn't mean it runs nice at all. As far as processing goes, max (around) 85% CPU usage, max 13% GPU... eh.. that's expected of emulators I guess. Still cool...
TheMightyEthan
Yeah, usually with emulators 100% playable just means you can play through and complete the full game.
deanb
PCSX2 has a pretty decent compatibility list (though at this point it's 95% playable, and that's very much in a "this works pretty dang well unless you've a really old PC" kind of way. Like FFXII is pretty great on it and looks sweet in HD).http://www.pcsx2.net/compatibility-list.html Seeing something like RDR running is pretty dang amazing, even if it's just "in-game" compatibility. Their current percentage is pretty good for an early start. I'd have figured it'd be in the 0.5% playable range, but over 9% is not badhttps://rpcs3.net/compatibility
