Zeo-Gold92
I couldn't find any topic or maybe I overlooked, if I did I apologise. Anyways my question is what options are there for component for the PS2? I know some people will say that generic cabling works just as good as branded etc. I've been looking and I have been able to cross a couple off that don't seem suitable. I don't want to spend a crazy amount either. Any help or suggestions? What do you guys use? Thanks.
TheMightyEthan
You probably already tried this but I'd just look on Amazon. I haven't used my PS2 in probably 7 or 8 years, so I don't have any specific recommendations.
TCP
Honestly at this point I'm hard pressed to think of too many PS2 games that have aged well that also don't have at least a PS3 HD remaster. It would be hard to go back. Zeo, are you wanting to plug into an HD screen?
Zeo-Gold92
Thanks for the response guys, I looked on amazon but yeah, nothing that I fully feel good about quality wise. I found a review of one of the products from KMD that didn't sound good to me. As for wanting to plug into a HD screen, yeah my tv is a 32" FHD. One good thing is my TV automatically displays the games in their original aspect ratio so I don't have to fiddle with things. Part of the reason I want component is to kinda sharpen the image a bit. I know most games have ages shockingly and they tend to look even worse on LCD screens etc. Although my consolized MVS system looks delicious even on my modern TV I use component for it though. I think they're custom component plugs though. I do have a couple of remasters but I was hanging out to play some THPS.
