I'd like if everyone posted unusual or even secretive type things you found that people enjoy offline or online, something that's hot but among a very small crowd. I'll start you off with two.

 

 

Name: Danbo

Description:cardboard looking robot from the Yotsuba series

Comment: Well, apparently this little fellow is hot among the online crowd. It ranges from $25-$60 bucks, but your most likely to find it on sell at E-bay and those average around $50 bucks.

 

People tend to buy one, then take numerous pictures of their Danbo modeling anywhere from on top of trees to inside a tire swing.

 

 

Name: Shimeji

Description: The picture above is that of a desktop buddies called Shimeji, as I mentioned they are tiny desktop buddies that run around your desktop and cause havoc. They'll usually just climb the side of your screen or perform cute acts like sleeping or giving you a heart emoticon.

Comment: These are free and easy to install, you got many choices out there ranging from Zelda to random Anime characters.

I once had a desktop buddy but it betrayed me and ran off with my desktop stripper girl, they took my "movies" folder as well.

 

I would have never known if Helpful Paperclip didn't ring the bell. Apparantly Desktop Buddy offered Paperclip some quick cash for silence, but he wouldnt bend. (dohoho)

 

Ok enough of that, on topic:

 

 

 

Yeah, apparantly these fucking things survived the turn of the millenium. Did not see that coming. The same goes for these things:

 

 

One can only conclude that kids enjoy having (whiny) responsibilities? Muh?

I personally want to get 4-5 more and make a Super Danbo but man, that will cost a lot...
