Been playing the Two Thrones recently. So much fun.

I don't know what it is about it and Warrior Within, but I felt that this game was so much more fun than The Sands of Time.

Sands of Time is great, but it was too limited. It was 75% platforming and 25% combat, or that's the feeling it had.

The others were about 60% platforming, and 40% combat. Better balance, better games, IMO.

Ha, I only played Sands of Time out of the original trilogy, and near the end I was getting sick of the combat.

I have all three on Steam, but haven't really felt like playing the other two yet. If there's more combat, is it at least improved or is it pretty much the same as in Sands of Time??

I liked the 2008 reboot, though. I'm still hoping for a sequel to it. I haven't played the Epilogue DLC, but I'm pretty sure it didn't fully resolve the game's cliffhanger ending.

I got Sands of Time HD, as I never owned the game, but I played it before as well. The way I see it, Sands of Time had the best story of the trilogy, but Warrior Within improved the combat as combat in the first was terrible. Two Thrones is awesome, as it is a solid mix of the two, but I would probably say Sands of Time is my favorite of the trilogy.

I very much enjoyed PoP 2008. I even got the Epilogue, so while it slightly clears the original cliffhanger, it leaves you with another one. The Mourning King was tough.
