I bought my DS off my sister along with Cooking Mama 2, Nintendogs, Prof Layton & Curios Village, and Super Mario DS. I bought Pokemon Pearl and FFIV. That was about 2 years ago. With the 3DS coming out I'm assuming and hoping DS game prices will drop (but this is Nintendo we're talking about) Now I know of the big titles like Pokemon, Prof Layton, etc. Just wondering what are some good obscure titles to look up on, any diamonds in the rough. Things that are worth £5 for the laugh or worth £30 dead on. So, DS owners (of which I am assured by sales figures there are many), hit me. WTF Posted March 17, 2011 Report Share Posted March 17, 2011 The World Ends with You Chrono Trigger Ace Attorney series of course Strange Journey Devil Summoner 999 Ghost Trick (though it's a bit short and I didn't enjoy it as much, however a lot of Shu Takumi Fans did like the game) FF:4 warriors of light. It's like £9 or something new Bowser's Inside story You can try one of the zeldas but I'd recommend trying it first. There are demos off the wii store, so if you have access to a wii you can try demos of games like okamiden. Flower Sun & Rain (if you missed the ps2 version) advance wars or fire emblem portrait of ruin, dawn of sorrow oendan or elite beat agents scribblenauts should be cheap canvas curse is said to be pretty good but i've not played it. I'm not into Pokemon so I can't recommend any but go with one that excel would suggest. DQ9 and Slime are supposed to be good. I'm sure you can try chinatown wars on an iphone or psp and the psp version is better technically. Those are what I've got amongst those not mentioned by you. Besides, adjectives! Elite Beat Agents is one of my personal favorite DS games. If you're into Star Fox, there is Star Fox Command. Elite Beat Agents is super cheap and a fun little music game as a diversion. Phantom Hourglass was pretty good. I haven't played spirit tracks yet. I can't bring myself to play Nintendogs.
