  1. See, now I feel terrible. I kinda miss co-op, it was fun. Also, I say it's natural talent.
  2. Average US male BMI is 28 and weighing in at 191lbs and 5'9" (in 2002) I am better than average then. I think I am like, 170-ish? and 5'9". No idea what my BMI is though.
  3. If that is an average american, then I look way better. THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING.
  4. I have never had to work out in my entire life. My metabolism has done it's job of keeping me looking like an average American while being able to eat whatever and do nothing all day. On the 1st, I have to actually start an exercise routine before I ship out to Texas for basic March 1st. 2 months of hell, and then another two months of hell! Exciting. Yay.
  5. I'M JUST SAYIN'. Maybe you should be practicing, you always got us killed in co-op. D:
  6. Haha, yes. Some of they weren't total failures, but I was just really looking forward to the game, and when I played it I was just highly disappointed. In most cases, the dev couldn't live up to the hype they built in me for the sequel, but a few I thought were genuinely terrible (Far Cary Twooo, FFXIII D'. Yeah, it was like GOW, but I don't care. Any game can be like something else, but it if does it well, and I enjoy it's fine. The atmosphere was great, the levels and architecture were gorgeous, and the ending had a massive plot twist I never saw coming. Killer monster designs too. Everyone I talk to say they didn't play it because it was a GOW rip-off. Those people, are missing out.
  7. Impossibly high standards? No? o.o I mean, I liked MGS4, MGS3, and MGS. A lot of people hated FFXIII; some people don't think RDR is the coming of Jesus, and Far Cry 2 was atrocious. GTAIV is iffy, but in the end I didn't like it too much, and Bioshock 2 after playing it a few times I feel like it was a slight cash in; while Infinity looks more like a true sequel to the Bioshock universe. Plus, in this generation so many games are so alike others, it's hard to not be disappointed by a game. So far Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Reach are my favorite games this year is that gives you a better view of my standards (even though Reach is on the list, I replay it for the co-op and online).
  8. RDR. Halo: Reach (3 was so much bettar, they fucked up, should have stuck to the books story to a T, still adore the online though). FFXIII (XII was better). GTAIV. Bioshock 2. Far Cry 2. Half Life 2. MGS2. I could go on.
  9. Link is broken, brah. Pretty sure I am GMT -5 though.
  10. I noticed the little things in the video, like how he kinda... hops or something after taking someone down with melee and such. It's the little animation touches like that that I really enjoy, and wish more games you do. They can still improve though. Like, when Sulley is crossing the beam and Drake yells, I would have had him do an animation where he is waving him over or something, then then have him auto transition to taking out his gun in surprise and then you go to the table, etc, etc. I know you can't do that for everything, but him standing there doing nothing while yelling looks a bit silly. The melee sounds could use some work, they sound soft; might be an early build or something though.
  11. Reminds me of Code Geass for some reason. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbNvY8PBaQo Guilty pleasure, hurr hurr.
  12. Added everyone on Steam; bedtime, then TF2. Yeahhhh.

  13. Why do I keep waking up at 2am? Whyyyy?

  14. I got to 83 and quit; it got too boring. I'm sure ill play again sometime though. The waiting lines for a dungeon were 30 minutes. D':
  15. The remakes are good. They definitely streamline it for you. I'm fully expecting the remakes ending to be bat shit insane as well. I need something to do, maybe I should start Eureka tonight...

The story, while not very original, is surprisingly entertaining. It's one of those games where everything's in the details. The localization is excellent, and I was surprised to find the game is very funny. Through all the quest and NPC dialog, it keeps the world feeling vibrant and fresh, and often the stories behind the quests are quite interesting, even if the main story is whatever. The gameplay is incredibly addictive and the visuals are excellent. It was really some of the most fun I've had with a game in a long time, when I first played it. Then again, it's also one of my favorite genres/game-types (and one that is practically endangered these days). For less than $9 for all three games, I'd say it's more than worth it. Mm, I'll be off to the bank early tomorrow to snag it before the sale ends though. I don't mind if the main story is not original, just entertaining. Nice to know the quests have decent stories too. Thanks.
  17. I don't think I have seen any Evangelion, why? D; My list: - Evangelion - Gundam Wing (and G Gundam) - FMA - FMA: Brotherhood - Samurai Champloo - Death Note - Ghost in the Shell - Cowboy Bebop - Ergo Proxy Pretty standard list. I need to get on to watching Eureka 7. I have been wanting to watch Naruto for whatever reason, and I'd like to get caught up on Bleach (fuck watching the filler season though, I'll be waiting another year to see the completion of the hollow arc in english). I started Gurren Lagann once too, never finished it.

I was going to ask about Bounty, the gameplay looks good. Is the story good, or is it just bland stuff that you'd expect?
  19. Retro for me are the NES, SNES, Gameboy, etc. Stuff that was either only in black and white (Gameboyyyyy, first one anyway) or could only be 8-bit or akin to it. Classic for me, is something that I think I will always love, no matter how old it gets. Halo is a classic for me, as well as Sly Cooper, Morrowind, COD4, The Windwaker, RE4, etc, etc (I started gaming on the Gamecube for consoles, and Gameboy for handhelds, so I totally skipped the N64, Dreamcast, PS2... a lot of my "classics" are not that old). So I guess for the purpose of the thread, I think the SNES, NES, and Gameboy are retro. I don't think any console is a classic, only the games on it that you will always play.
  20. The Tron case is horrific. It's like my 360, smudges everywhere. Got both Witcher books too, hopefully they are as good as the game.
  21. I come home to my father watching "A Walk To Remember." Wat.

Dad's can have a sentimental side, too.

  23. Most people actually just call me Fretwell, idgaf though what people call me. They always ask for preferences. :/
  24. OH MY GOD, you gave them my name! I feel exposed.
  25. Chapter II of the Witcher, and I had enough gold to get my new armor, errr, vest this time. Whoo.
