  2. I spent the night browsing for MGS art books online. Found a new money pit; and I now have an intense craving to play the entire series again.

  3. Well, I think you should just figure out how gaming lets them escape from reality while deployed; especially in since most of the games they prefer are about wars, and killing people. Cool that you get to interview someone from the Military though, I can't wait to see this.
  4. And this is why COD4 is still my favorite shooter to play online, of all time.
  5. Hm, I get your point. I guess I'm thinking about it from a publishers viewpoint. If the game has much more longevity, even if that's because of the community and free, I could see why they would want to charge more. With the cost of production going up too, I can see how the publishers upped the price on pc games as well. Other than more dlc, there was not way to make more money off of your title, unless they upped the price of the console versions. Publishers really treat the pc community like shit.
  6. I have two opinions on this, and I'll go ahead and say I'm not a big PC gamer. I play WoW, TF2, Minecraft, Torchlight, and any Diablo. A few others occasionally but that's it. I know that PC games used to cost 50, instead of 60 (I wonder if they were 40 at one point...) but after being a console gamer for ages, coming to the PC and seeing all the mods, I think the extra 10 dollar price point is justified. Pc games can last ages compared to a console game. You can still find matches for PC games that are years old. The one thing I don't agree with is Activision bumping up the price on a game just because they know people will buy it (I'm looking at you CoD). I also don't think you should have to deal with horrid DRM either. You are paying just as much as console gamers now. Being able to share your game / saves / etc is just part of the PC world IMO, and devs need to grasp that. No DRM is for the best (IMO). I'm also going at this from the US's price points, and assuming that Activision were one of the first to jack the price. Oh, and just fyi, I have contemplated getting a amazing rig to game properly; but I really blow at FPS's on my PC, and there aren't too many games I'd want to play on here, rather than my console (Nigh the glorious Witcher 2).
  7. Finally hit Colonel on Reach; fuck yea.

See if it was a more realistic game you'd of got court marshalled for hitting a superior officer.

Well, the slot machine gives out more credits now. A good game I get 1500 to 2k, a bad game around 900.

As long as you don't quit now you should get at least 500 a game.

Aren't you supposed to get more credits the higher rank you are, or is that a bunch of crap?

You get more credits for finishing the game the higher rank you are. Commendations, and the slot machine stays the same I think.

  9. Booo, I love steam. I'll still buy it anyway, of course.
  10. Even if it does come to consoles, I'd get it for PC / OSX on steam.
  11. I wonder why they don't just create a formula that calculates how much ammo the game gives you at certain intervals based on factors like, your accuracy, k/d ratio, etc, etc. That way the people like me who like playing on the harder difficulties will actually get a challenge. Dead Space 2 did a pretty good job of keeping you on your toes on Zealot. And the game itself, looks pretty cool. I'm more interested in the, what was it, Project X? The MMO like Zombie game with a persistent world where you build a shelter and such.
  12. Sure go ahead. I dare anyone to try and fine a good Aquaman one!
  13. I'd rather have no frostbite, and have more players. I was hoping for more. After toying around with MAG, most games just don't do it for my anymore with 24 players. BC2 maps now feel too big IMO. Any time I am having to sit there, and wait on them to re-spawn to have something to do, that's just bad. I would even buy BC3 for my pc, but I am horrendous on a pc. I can't even play TF2 well.
  14. I have to say, hearing people sing songs from Mulan was the highlight of my night. Shit was hilarious.

      Such a great night.

  15. I think that's sort of what the 'new' look is. That's more the 'blogroll' style. I actually kinda like it like that though. I don't mind the rolling / scrolling, I just liked it better when it loaded one story on the left. Seems redundant now to have two sides that scroll. EDIT: Derppppp, I realized it was just because it was the "Today's big stories" post, shitttt. My bad. I shall retract my comments. T_T
  16. They really need to figure this out. They should just load the latest / top story of the day when you go there on the left, and leave the right column the way it is. No need for TWO scrolling columns of the same. thing.
  17. New Halo map pack, /squee

  18. Sorry about leaving, it said you were waiting in the lobby. That was my last game this afternoon. I have to go help put down a floor. :P I'll be on later tonight.

  19. It's odd, because now changing my screenname works, but it always bring up my info asking me to add stuff in there even though I already have (?) each time I login. Oh well. They will revert, or we'll have to wait until it's not as buggy as shit. And it runs the same speed.
  20. I need still need to get endure on ODST. I have failed three times. I do not want to try again, buttttt- eh.

Got to the vary last wave of the last set of the last round and died. Never tried it again.

The first time, the group got to the last wave, of the last round, of the last set, and guy's connection blew up, and it kicked us all. Second time same place, but we all just died. Third time, same thing. It's the last vidmaster I need too. Hmph.

  21. Aha, I just use my facebook. I've been trying to change the name for ages. I've seen people on Gizmodo using a facebook login with something other than their name as a username, but it never works for me. Oh well. I was David Fretwell.
  22. Hey, it's that guy! I'm the one who was raging over BC2 (There could be a lot of those guys? I dunno). Welcome.
  23. Halo: Reach later anyone?

Sure, ill join in. Im not sure if you have accepted my FR though.

      Akuam4n

Yeah, I think I did. I'll be on most of the night; I think my parties open, so just join whenever.

  24. Ahhhh, I remember that. There were always those people who after they got nerfed to hell said "I swear, I just do this because it's fun, not because it's still as op as fuck, lololol." Seriously, it's not even remotely realistic.
