How skill tree should look in PC version by default How it really looks That is sad. And it's not only about skill tree. The inventory is horrible, and instead of one useful window we have this fragmented clusterfuck of a menu.

Played a little with it, looks amazing. With all those fixes Dark Souls actually looks better than most of the games this year.

Oh, believe me, I know all there is about that. The issue here is not only regional lock, but in the inability to play the game in English and that I actually bought different game and they changed it without any notice. What's more retarded is that retail copies that activate on steam DO NOT have region lock and are sold worldwide uncontrollably, while steam gifts are easily controlled and are much more of a hussle to sell. Well, I guess "Le Reddit" is good for something. Most likely. The story of Russian game publishers is a sad one. Imagine if Hitler was alive and owned a publishing company, well, that's 1C in a nutshell. The funny thing in this situation is that 2k/steam/gearbox/1c pissed off a lot more people than they planned(?) to. Lithuanians and Estonians hate Russia and Russian language. So when they saw that 50 euro version turn to "Borderlands 2 RU" I guess they were pretty fucking upset. There's also some info that 2k did this. I hope with this much of resonance we'll hear at least something from one of those companies. edit: FYI region locking is a common practice here after a lot of MW2 keys were registered outside of Russia in 2009. At first it was nice to have cheap games, but I have always had a bad feeling about this. Steam heavily hindered piracy in Russia but now we face this. People are practically forced to pirate games because of this.

Having played the games yourself, you'd think it'd be evident. I don't think anyone was saying they're bad games in their own domain, just that they don't necessarily belong in the domain of RPG anymore. I'm inclined to agree, as the elements here are bordering on, well, Borderlands.

Yeah the item system is gone because when you have max items and you find some, you can't go back to finding them, no. You have to break the items down into omni-gel because the game itself doesn't let you go back to where items were spawned. Oh you didn't realize you had 150 because there is not a count until you pick up items? Oh too bad. Go ahead and take this Colossus X armor and turn it into four omni-gel, which you can just use to get past all the "puzzles" we laid o...

Those maps look nice. For example, colour filter in Amored Shield is more bearable compared to Caspian Border Death Valley is too blue. You're fucking invisible while wearing navy blue camo. Bondar desert and alborz mountain are fine, but look at those points:

Yes, it's the strategy one, made by Firaxis. I don't think we'll hear anything about that FPS in the nearest future.

Square Enix publishes surprisingly good games nowadays. And with good PC versions, too. Also, It's the first game in recent memory that doesn't look like it went through fucking instagramm.

Looks quite good with that fix(just launched it on my 360 to compare), but text messages don't appear correctly(He promised to look into this problem). Finally managed to configure my gamepad. Part of true PC experience, I guess. There's a special slang term in Russia for all these actions - "dances with tambourine" Incompetence?

That is odd. Steam always blocks many games here in Russia(hello, whole Bethesda catalog!), but even when GFWL wasn't supported here I bought DoW2 without any problems. What about Arkham City?

Pre-ordered a couple of days ago, because I can't play online on my banned x360. Oh boy, am I going to be mad while playing this on PC. Hoorah for GFWL!! It's not GFWL-related. Steam blocks a lot of games in various regions for some reason(publishers, of course).

Oh, come on, just pirate everything if you don't want to support such things. Why the hell would you want those pre-order things in the first place? They almost always suck. I rarely see something worthwile among pre-order-only items.
