Generally, I only read small details and watch a few videos for games I'm looking forward to(which are a rarity anyhow). I get what you're saying, Chewie. The Witcher 2, for example. I watched a few demo videos, but that's it. I used to be really into grabbing news — and I still do for the sake of others — but I don't look too far into it.

I haven't read(and don't plan to) this entire thread. I'm certain I'll buy the Vita, though. The list of supporting companies is impressive, and I've already seen a couple enchanting titles — Gravity and Dragon's Crown thus far. And with the inevitable salvo of VNs, I think it'll fare well enough.

I still prefer the 2D art of the earlier(or DS/PSP) titles to the 3D introduced with the Arland series. Nevertheless, I do have to agree with the fairytale art. It's just stunning. Though Totori is, by far, the quintessential Arland lass. Atelier, even. SO ROVERY AND FILIGREE! I'm pleased that with Totori(and Meruru) Gust have returned to glory with their soundtracks. They had a bit of a departure there(not with AT, but Atelier), and that's long been one of their strong suits. MK1&2, Rise, Rorona and Annie weren't impressive. Still decent, but not up to par. But yeah, still look forward to Meruru.

Ar tonelico was orchestrated by the folk behind Atelier Rorona. Though the Atelier series preceded Ar tonelico. AT adopts some of the lighter synthesis elements you'll find in the Atelier series while really focusing more on story and romancing the female protagonists. There are also some neat battle systems in the trilogy. I could go on a garrulous spree of praise, so yeah, it's my favorite role-playing series.

Just started the first inFAMOUS. It's one of the free games I chose. Already getting repetitive... When I'm done with that, I'll begin SMT: Digital Devil Saga 2. It's a short game(20-30 hours), so it'll be easy to wipe off the queue.
