    I just quick-traveled back after an hour or so of running around doing nothing. It is a bit satisfying, though. I miss the levitate spells of Morrowind so much.

    Just started up Nier. Haven't played a current-gen console RPG since Ar tonelico Qoga. Edit: The cause of this is TES' most relentless problem: the boredom that eventually takes over after dozens of hours of open-world skulduggery.

    I keep my copy of Xenosaga around to remind me why I dislike Monolithsoft. |: I traded in my PS2 and Gamecube today since my fiancee already has those consoles. Used the credit to pick up FFXIII for her and Nier for me. Both for PS3.

    The issue with that is so much of it is going to be repetition, filler, or just boring. Very few games are fun to platinum outside of the need for completeness Pretty much this. Although Rorona is often regarded as a "hard" platinum title, and it's pretty fun to plat. It's all of the stuff I would do wrt an RPG anyway.

    Just picked up Nier and Final Fantasy XIII. I don't care for FFXIII, but my fiancee is into the franchise, so I purchased it up @ $17.99. Traded in my PS2 for some extra credit since I'm moving and she has one. Also running out of unfinished PS2 games. I only have Stella Deus, Suikoden Tactics and Eternal Poison left unfinished. Hurray dwindling backlog!

    The inFAMOUS 2 CE is still $59.99 in Gamestop stores. Those in my area just received a fairly large shipment.

    I've been waiting on a sale on those for so friggin' long. I missed the one at GamersGate some time ago. I actually own the physical copy of Drakensang. It was troublesome to get shipped to Gamestop even though I pre-ordered it. Anyhow, just seconding those titles. If you've a loin-stirring proclivity for the CRPG, they're worthy.

    I was assuming he meant practicality. It's not intuitive at all. Why not just look at a list, instead of scrolling left and right through these things? Being on consoles doesn't even explain the decision, as you could still order them vertically. But I guess Bethesda is known for refractory interfaces.

    Yeah, that's bad. What happened to KISS? As for RPS: eh. Journalism is, in most cases, a humdrum thing. RPS does well in slaking that, and I appreciate it. Let 'em write how they wish.
