If you want apps, get a smart phone. PMP/MP3 players are meant for playing music. Not games and checking Facebook and looking at your stock portfolio. @Battra: I bought a Sansa for my dad's birthday and he really enjoys it too. Nothing fancy, but the sound quality is good and it holds a lot of music.

If everything in ME2 works as it should for PS3 (and the ME1 -> 2 thing turns out alright), then I'll probably play ME3 on it as well.

I was going to list it, because I actually am interested in it (both for the extra content and the PS3 being my platform of choice), but I've already played it on the 360, so it felt redundant to list it again. Kinda like the Team Ico HD collection, which I'm also really, REALLY looking forward to.

Really bad lemon

I thought about making a, "What do you want for Christmas?" thread, but that seemed trivial so close to the holidays. So instead, what are some things you want? It can be big or small. Maybe you simply want a new graphics card, or maybe you want beach front real estate in the Caribbean. Lets try to keep it to tangible objects (no "I want a zombie apocalypse to happen") and grounded within the reality (no "I want a portal gun"). Other than that, let loose. My post was mostly a response to everyone who decided to go off topic, telling them their their argument was a pointless endeavor (and reiterating the point you were making). Only the quip about the RPG Manifesto thread was directed at you. Do I win back my cool points now?

I did an economics report about the sale of videogames. I used a creative writing assignment to write anime fanfiction. I think that's about the worst (best?) I've got.

You should've known from the 50+ pages the RPG Manifesto thread spawned that this would happen! At the end of the day, it can't be properly defined, so it's pointless to argue. Person 1 considers the gameplay mechanics of the original RPGs (leveling, equipment, class building) to be the quintessential element of what an RPG is. Person 2 believes it was about story telling and character growth and development since that was also a hallmark of early RPGs. At the end of the day, both sides are correct, so where do we draw a line and how to we differentiate between the two? It's a pointless endeavor really. Which I guess is why I want to write a piece about the history of the RPG genre and it's classifications so bad.

As long as it as Zoe and Psymon, everything will be alright.
