「Advent Chaos」

So the dirtiest of my roomates has this habit of leaving an orange juice gallon on the coffee table in the living room. Now hold on, I'm very open minded and I like to try my own patience. Got guests and friends coming over? Leave a little mess, but since it's so late you go straight to bed? That's fine by me, tomorrow you can clean it up. Didn't clean up the next? Well sure fine. 3 days and still nothing? Ok this is starting to look nasty. 1 week? Clean your shit up. Now as I said, I'm fine if you're feelin' lazy about cleaning things up, so long as you do it within a couple of days, glasses, an empty pizza box, plates, a fast food empty bag sure whatever, but is it normal to leave an Orange Juice gallon outside just like that? To my big surprise he was just "cleaning" (because it still looks like shit) his room, so yeah good for him, I ask him if he could clean up the living room as well. "What things?" "Well y'know, the empty glasses and mostly the orange juice." "Oh yeah the orange juice, I'll put that some place else." "...Why not just the fridge?" "Because Orange Juice doesn't need to be in the fridge to be preserved. Also that way it won't take up any space in the fridge." "...We have space (I had cleaned up the fridge a couple days ago)." Admittedly, our fridge does tend to fill up pretty quickly considering it's 5 guys using one fridge, the lower part of the fridge I use and as of now I use up about 22% of space, there's plenty of space for a gallon and some frozen pizzas or whatever you want to put in there. I'm seriously considering holding some sort of roomate meeting and hearing their opinions on food placement. I personally think it looks nasty, considering it's on the fucking coffee table for a week. I mean I don't have guests at all (anti-social yay :[ ) , but my roomates do and it'd be pretty embarrassing to have guest come in and the first thing they see is a coffee table with 4-6 fast food/regular glasses and a gallon of orange juice. Should I go through with this meeting and see if they think it's ok to leave food items out just like that? I'm all for fairness and equality, if their argument makes sense and there seems to be a general consensus then fine by me. I may not completely agree, but I'll respect their choices. What do you guys think? Is it normal? Is it ok? Do you guys do it?

I didn't really want to add it until I complete all Extra-Ops and Outer Ops, but after I developed the Slingshot Rank 3, defeated all A.I. (Type II & Customs) weapons and cleared all the Monster Hunter quests I felt it was accomplished. Maybe if I get people to play with me later on Live I'll finish the few EXOPS and Outer Ops I have left to do.

I bought the 360 version about 2 weeks ago, started with Subsistence, but then jumped right to Peace Walker. Almost done with Peace Walker, got 1 more ending to go through and maybe I'm the only weirdo, but i love all the micro-managing there is. Even though it's kinda silly I enjoy seeing my MSF teams go into battle (Outer Ops) and watch in suspense. Many of their battle decisions just make scream "Why", but it's still a fun experience. The micro-managing is all very tedious in the beginning, but as you start to kidnap/steal recruit higher rank soldiers and engineers, you can see the many possibilities and how easier some boss battles are. I recently tried Versus Ops> Quick Match, a Base Mission of 2 vs 2, my teammate had plenty good weapons while the other team had no idea what was going on. There's some ugly weapon change lag, maybe it was the host, but if it's not then it can be very crippling. I'm getting close to taking on on the "Type II" and "Custom" battles. Pupa, Chrysalis and Cocoon are no longer a problem, I've been able to 'S' rank those battles so far, Peace Walker (Basilisk) still proves problematic though specially since I'm stupid enough to go in without any recovery items. I fear the "Monster Hunter" Quests though *shivers*

Finally bought MGS HD, never thought I'd be playing these games on the Xbox 360. I was originally going to purchase it on the PS3, but a good friend of mine wanted to do Peace Walker co-op with me so yyyyep :l (Fun fact: That bitch is nowhere to be found now that I bought the game)

Change is good, it's evolution. The problem I (had) and the internets have is that it's such a huge change that it almost feels nothing like the product you're used to. I've come to accept it, I know it'll be fun. As for the story I had my doubts since the trailer makes it look like a cheeseball of action movies, but after some thought it has some good potential for a story. Personally I haven't seen much backlash, more support than I thought actually. I'm not sure this is a good analogy, but this is what I'm trying to convey: We have a tomato, we all know it what it tastes like and how it can be beneficial to your diet, but it's become a regular and some sort of change would be welcome. BAM! Bioengineers have a fun with a tomato and make new type of tomato. New tomato looks and tastes like a banana. People are going to be taken aback. Nevermind I suck at this stuff.

The debt nations have should be immense though, to keep fueling the economy that has set a death sentence on them would be foolis- oop nevermind. Okay so, say that there a few strong and leading PMCs out there creating more work for themselves why is Raiden trying to stop them? Sure, the war economy may still thrive, but it won't be the leading one, the world economy will keep rebuilding until it's somewhat stable. Or so I would like to think. Could it be because of the technological threat of cyborg soldiers present? Wouldn't that be going against regular evolution? then again he'd be fighting against the times just like Big Boss once did... Yes yes, that RAY fight seems pretty ridiculous. Maybe as one of the later boss battles, y'know like the most advanced and powerful RAY design up to that timeline. If this is not the case, knowing Platinum Games, Raiden will be fighting some colossal Metal Gears, bigger than Coccoon or Arsenal (Arsenal is considered a Metal Gear, right?). Also I gotta say, I'm kind of surprised that Platinum Games had some footage to show. As an opportunity to work on the Metal Gear franchise, it'd be crazy to pass up on and yeah it's very likely that they used a lot of assets from what the old team had (although to me the footage shown seems like all original work from them). My surprise is that I thought they were so intently focused on Anarchy Reigns, which made the footage shown feel like I was watching Anarchy Reigns, just with Raiden. Speaking Anarchy Reigns, I am sooo looking forward to it~

The first release was the japanese version and sellers saw fit to charge a buttload of money for an export, it's available on Amazon now and in English!

Okay, I made some big mistakes. Dr. Drago Pettrovich Madnar actually just helped engineer "White blood". I had only heard of Dr.Madnar on MGS4, but it turns out he goes back to Metal Gear and helped (?) Big Boss develop the (Metal Gear) TX-55. Even after being rescued by Solid Snake in the Outer Heaven Uprising he still sided with Big Boss in Zanzibarland, bringing back the half-dead Big Boss. After Metal Gear 2 happened, apparently he just went to hiding to Eastern Europe then the whole thing with MGS4 happens. Okay so my theory still barely applies, he could be engineering PMCs into cyborgs, but it's a bit of a stretch. So since Raiden's cyborg body was forced upon him by Area 51 then Raiden might be going against them. And that's the last time I read the MGS4 Database instead of studying for a final. It's like getting stuck in a Wikipedia/TVtropes loop.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that it was a shock feeling that me and FLD felt when we saw the trailer, it IS a big departure from what we're used to so the initial reaction may have been bad (it was in my case...). Still though,, after reading up on Kojima's tweets and everything, I'm kind of glad Rising is finally happening. Kojima always seems so stressed out about leaving the franchise to a new generation, he seemed unhappy and unsure if it was even possible to pass on his essence on to other teams. He seems very confident with Platinum Games and even if he's not producing the the story so long as he's happy with the way his franchise is being handled then I think fans should also understand. Everyone pretty much already spoke my thoughts about RAY and the whole "Jack the Ripper" thing. If this does take place after MGS4 I do wonder why there is still active PMCs wanting to create ridiculous perfect cyborg soldiers, I was sure that the war economy would be at least dying out right after S.O.P. was taken down. Unless it's still being used, but controlled individually by nations rather than a series of A.I.s. I hope nothing happened to Rose and her kid, I think Raiden has been lied too enough, give him a break sheesh. If anything the whole REVENGEANCE thing could be him going after Dr.Madnar, a character who we know so little about, only that he provided dialysis for Raiden in MGS4, he seemingly also created Raiden's "White-blooded Scout" cyborg body. I could be wrong, but Raiden's cyborg changes were against his will and going back to the whole PMC business, Dr.Madnar could be re-fueling the war economy by cyborg-rizing PMCs and Raiden's going out to stop him.

Oh no I played it on the PSP, I meant the HD Collection. I ended up buying Skyward Sword instead of MGSHD. I don't regret it, but I could really use some MGS again. (I want to love you MGO, but you make it soooo hard)

Hehe I can understand how that might have happened. Peace Walker is great for a PSP title, but put it up against MGS2 & 3 and it's not looking so good. As an MGS fan I still can't believe I haven't bought it. College times man.
