Real talk? Ted Cruz is beginning to scare the shit out of me. The closer we get to default, the more obvious he makes it that he DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HE IS TOYING WITH. He is an inmate running the asylum.

I think it's just a case of Unalaq only caring about his kids as an extension of himself. He wants power, he wants prestige, and I can only assume he wants a legacy too. Eska and Desna are just means to an end, nothing more. If they had to die for him to get Korra, I don't doubt he'd be okay with that.

You know that's a good question and I wish I knew for sure. I wanna say that it might have shifted back and forth depending on whatever would have made sense to my brain at the time, or maybe it was somewhere in between. Dreams work in really crazy ways.

Most of the new vita content is in the form of completely separate events that take place during school trips and whatnot. However, there are two new social links, one of which is required if you want the golden ending. From what I've heard, the vita version is also rebalanced a bit so that certain bosses are not unfairly difficult. Oh yeah, there are also new social link activities. As far as the RPG side of it goes, though, it's mostly the same.

Had a weird one. I had just moved into either a small townhouse or a large apartment (not sure which) and it turned out to be haunted by a ghost. That's not so unusual for a dream, but the weird part is that it was haunted by the spirit of Kuroki Tomoko. In case you don't know or have forgotten who that is, it's this girl: Long story short, she killed herself because she had no friends and felt like no one noticed her. She didn't tell me this herself but I just kind of knew somehow. You know how dreams are. Anyway, she wasn't what I'd call an evil or malicious spirit, but she was kind of a brat because if I didn't give her enough attention or she thought I wasn't listening to her she would start flipping furniture and knocking things off shelves until I gave her my full focus. Not only that, but she never wanted to talk about anything interesting like what it was like to be dead or if there was a proper afterlife. She just wanted to talk about weird otaku shit and ask me inappropriate personal questions like what it was like to have a dick. It sucked but I went along with it the best I could because I felt sorry for her.

I'm starting to notice that the online doesn't have nearly as many missions as I thought it would. Hopefully they do a content update soon because I'm starting to see the same invites over and over.

That one is fine but fuck the rest. Also what the fucking fuck is the deal with Lamar's "caught napping" mission? It is by far the most ridiculously hard mission I have ever attempted in this entire game. The enemy NPCs spawn literally out of nowhere and their aim is good enough to shoot out your tires from a block away. It's total bullshit.

The Conjuring I watched this because it had gotten a lot of good buzz from viewers and critics when it came out, so I figured maybe it would do something to shake up the whole haunted house/exorcism movie formula. It does not. It shamelessly plays off of every ghost cliche it possibly can, and even though other people seem to think this movie is scary or creepy I couldn't even force myself to be invested in this because it never took me by surprise even once. I also feel like the actual ghost/evil spirit in the film is really unimaginative and lazy whenever you actually see it, particularly in the makeup department. It just plain wasn't scary. I would almost put this in the crap movies thread but I only really do that with films I despise, and this one I couldn't be bothered to care about one way or the other. It's just two hours of nondescript beige tinted who-gives-a-shit.

I keep Pikachu because I can train his speed and special power. I have an attack whose damage is dependent on the speed difference. Plus Raichu is fucking awesome.

If you haven't played since Yellow, dude, there's A LOT that has changed. One of the things that's odd to be is the assortment of all Gens on your travel. It doesn't always feel very balanced and I don't really have an idea what my Main Six will be.

I do wish that Bolin would get some fucking poontang one way or another, though, because he's starting to depress me with how he's always the third wheel. Mako got with Asami AND Korra while Bolin is starting to look like a forever alone guy. Let's not forget this moment: Okay that was actually pretty funny but still, throw the poor guy a bone, writers. Eska, Korra, Ginger, fuckin Zhu Li, I don't care who.

Saying that you hope they "patch things up" implies that Bolin shares some of the blame for their shitty relationship. If they get back together, it'll have to be because Eska fully acknowledges that she was downright abusive to Bolin before and that she's been a terrible person for probably her entire life and that she wants to change because she actually cares about Bolin more than herself. It's not impossible, but that'd take a hell of a lot of character development considering the kind of woman she is right now.

Well she spent most of the first season in the dark about what her father was doing, and the only real responsibilities she had were ones she elected to take on herself i.e. helping Korra and the others. She only started running the business in season 2, and she already had a sizable disadvantage because of her father's reputation. I like Asami and I still think she's a smart and capable character, but even capable people can get in over their heads.

I am not so sure that Eren has proportionate titan strength in his normal body. The way that page is drawn makes it kinda hard to tell but I don't think he suddenly gained super strength. If you recall, titan bodies are extremely light and easy to transport, so a normal person might be able to at least be a mild (very mild) hindrance to a titan who is trying to pick them up if they punch it directly in its outstretched palm. Mind you, I am by no means implying that this would be enough to save a normal person, and Eren would have been completely fucked if...well, you know. Edit: Another possibilty I just thought of, which might explain the unfortunately poorly explained punching panel, is that

I find Lester's missions ridiculously hard and he really doesn't pay well enough to make it seem worth it.

Has anyone noticed a lack of missions in the online? I'm at rank 21 but I still get rank 6 jobs on my phone.

It would be several years at least. I have nothing against the anime, but I think they made it way too soon.

Unfortunately it looks like the anime is over and I've seen nothing indicating a second season so it might be one of those cases where you just have to pick up the manga after it ends to see what happens next.

With what we have seen from the current Titans, I get the feeling that when we eventually do learn just what the hell their motivation is, the author is going to try to make us sympathize with them or acknowledge that they have a good reason for doing what they're doing. That's gonna be one hell of a tall order, seeing that he'll be asking us to sympathize with GENOCIDE.
