  1. I think I'm considered legally blind in my left eye soooooo...I wear glasses too. But it's cool, glasses are cute and we're able to see the world in ways you two-eyed folk never could! For example...a street light at night can also be a huge snowflake! :3
  2. I'm raging because I loaded up Batman: Arkham Asylum for the first time and I had to update, close the game, update, close the game, update, close the game. Took me 20 minutes to get past the stupid log in screen. I've heard of issues with DLC in the past from other people as well and I hate that I have to save my game on their server and I can't access that save unless I'm logged in...................................
  3. I hate Games for Windows Live so much. FECK it just breaks games more than anything!
  4. I'd play a pokemon MMO. Sheeeeeet.
  5. PC gaming is dead because everyone keeps telling me it's dead.
  6. World of Warcraft Call of Duty Halo God of War Sports games Assassin's Creed
  7. I cannot stand STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl. I want my $2.50 back. That first gunfight? Intense? No. Boring. The world worth looking at? No. Boring. No mod can save this game for me. I'm ok with the save system though.
  8. This is one of those openings that really grabbed you during your first playthrough and immersed you into the game, since it was your first time seeing Black Mesa, and getting an idea of what it was about. Anytime after that though, this opening starts, and you're just like... "FFFFFFFFFFFFF time to go make myself busy for 5 minutes." lol I can understand that frustration but for me I don't seem to get tired of that opening. Maybe it's the calm before the storm that gets me ready for the rest of the game.
  9. It takes so much of the tension out of games. I can go and do stupid shit and as long as I don't die, there is no punishment for being reckless. For some games it make sense but not for every game like it feels like they are doing now. Hell, even if I die there was a checkpoint 2 minutes back. I'm tired of being babysat. FECK
  10. Hey guys! There are girls. Let's flirt with them.
  11. You're missing the point. Just because games have been priced higher than $60 in the past doesn't make it automatically ok now. Why do all games need to cost the same price when not all games cost the same to produce? Outside of movies and games this crap wouldn't be tolerated. I mean even the music industry is more flexible with their pricing structure.
  12. Take better care of myself. Physically, mentally, and socially.
  13. Deep water. I can swim a little bit; enough to go from end to end in a pool, but deep water man...can't even see the bottom. I'm not afraid of anything in the ocean really aside from bumping into a jellyfish it's the deep water. If the water is deeper than my height I don't want to be there!
  14. Uh-oh... I better not mention that I'm from Steam too. Seriously, like 99% of the games I buy/play are on Steam. =X Almost all my games are on steam too. Freaking Valve selling games at amazing prices!
  15. I hate it when a game gives a limited amount of time before sending you back to the beginning of the game as if it were a groundhog day scenario. I'm looking at Breath of Fire 4 and Zelda: Majora's Mask.
  16. It was more complicated than that but yours is the general feeling towards it. I could argue that the Squall/Rinoa romance was similar to Laguna/Julia's romance, point out that Rinoa was chasing after Seifer for a good portion of the game, or that some of it may have been lost in translation and culture but really none of that matters. It's something you either feel and get or don't.
  17. Actually, I think that was what the game was about. "GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE HOLE!"
  18. I'm not sure what my first game was but for some reason I think it was E.T. on the Atari.
  19. You know FFVIII gets a lot of shit but really people love it a lot, myself included. I get a kick when people are surprised by it's popularity. For any romance story to work you have to be able to relate to the character at the center of it. I can see why it may be hard for some to relate to Squall but for me the relationship between Squall and Riona is one of the stronger relationships I've experienced in an RPG. Also, I know a few females who like FFVIII and it's romance story tremendously.
  20. Sounds to me like someone hasn't beaten the game to get the true ending. Also, for my contribution, Uplink from Introversion. Can't help but replay it once a year. Nah I have, just it was like 15 years ago at this point.......
  21. I lend more towards ranged fighting. It's so rewarding to kill of bad guys without them even getting close enough to harm me. I'm not so much into setting up traps though. I feel like if you set up traps you're locking yourself in somewhere and I like the flexibility to move around freely. That said, what I really like most is a mage that controls his own pets. (IE. Summoner from Final Fantasy.) But for some reason if it's controlling robots I get turned off. It's a complicated thing to describe fully. If you put them together it sounds like a Ranger kind of class but I have yet to see it designed in a way I like. Also taking the kind of game were are playing into account changes what I like to do. But in general: Open world - sniper/ranged or summoner/mage with pets Fixed battles (IE FF13/Star Ocean/ Tales of...) - I prefer the quick melee characters. Turn Based - Hard to nail down but generally whoever has the strongest non-elemental attack.
  22. Cheap kills to me are usaully something happening that has a one in a million chance of killing me. Examples: a granade being thrown randomly completly accross a map and exploding in my face or being headshot by a sniper in TF2 when you are a cloaked spy. Other cheap kills come from things in games not working correctly. Like facestabs in TF2 or getting stuck inside objects in Counter Strike: Source
  23. Battle Toads on the NES. FECK I never could beat it.
