Watched No Strings Attached last night. I only really picked it up because of Natalie Portman and it was a tad boring. Not enough originality in what turned out to be a generic attempt at romantic comedy.

I have now but when I originally bought Just Cause on the PC, I had a 15". These might help you however; http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6725 http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=6626

The 360 controller all the way. It's the only one I've ever used that doesn't give me sore wrists and aching fingers. I absolutely love it's triggers too. You know, gently squeezing them in a game (with decent driving mechanics) while trying not to drive insanely fast.

Same. Already got KoToR, SWBF2, Dark Messiah & the GTA Pack on Steam.

Just picked up Just Cause, Just Cause 2 & JC2 DLC in the Steam sale. I already own the first on the PC, but I like the idea of having it on Steam. The second I already have on the XBOX, but at £4, I am interested in being able to use the mods on the PC.

A junction at the top of the area I live in, which leads onto a main road, was replaced with a roundabout a few years back. It's now a nightmare to get out onto the road if there is anything more than light traffic. The lights further down the road from that have also been turned into a roundabout. It sits on accesses to the City Council, a supermarket, the road leading to the train station and the road into the city centre. It's a two lane roundabout but everyone treats it like a single lane. You get queues going back about 15 cars on each of the roads because no one uses both lanes. On the off occasion someone actually does, everyone else beeps at them. It's crazy. I've only been driving for a year though, so I tend to stick with the sheep and use the one lane too.

Free-flowing British circular my arse.

Ditto. I've only just re-installed from the disc as well, absolutely kicking myself that I now want to un-install that and re-install the mods on the Steam version.

The sale seems to have broken the search feature as well as the listings for publisher catalogues.

I was wondering why my cereal tasted like piss this morning.

It's more an indication of a vocal minority than it is any majority. The server population tends to sit around 30-40k and CCP have previously used the number 300,000 when talking about active subscriptions.

I decided to reinstall Star Wars Galaxies and make use of the free 45 days of game time that resulted from the plethora of Sony hacking disasters.

I've just finished off Red Faction: Armageddon. Loved the story, although it did come off as being rather dry and long winded. Guerilla was a bit more of a Sci-Fi epic and Armageddon seems to be attempting to cling onto the formers atmosphere rather unsuccessfully. Guerilla had a feeling of a greater purpose, fighting for a reason not just for the sake of it. Armageddon I think lost that necessity and felt too much like a half-arsed summer blockbuster. Ending spoiler; Gameplay wise though, it's an absolute blast. The infestation mode is also rather nice, although not enough people seem to grasp the need for teamwork. I ended up soloing it for the 'chevos in offline mode.

Picked up Starcraft II this weekend. I've been hesitant about it, but I'm actually glad I bought it. I've been itching for a good base building RTS similar to the older ones but with current tech. I was rather disappointed that Dawn of War II did away with base building. I didn't even touch C&C4.

I watched Paul last night. Excellent film. Excellent casting.

Games that you hate that everyone else seems to like

Naw, don't be hating on the Lego man. The Halo shit is made with that Megablocks crap. You know, the thing that pretends it's Lego but when you give it to a kid on their Birthday, they look like you've just run over their dog. -

To me the free roam killed it. I don't usually like driving games, the first burnout or two were rather unique. Paradise to me felt too much like a generic driving game.
