  1. I've found a few more details.. .Obvious and subtle gameplay choices affect the story. .The game has fixed camera angles like the original Silent Hill titles. .Enemy chase scenes similar to Silent Hill: Shattered Memories return. .The ability to look over your shoulder and knock down objects to slow enemies returns from Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. .Real time level changes. .Clothing changes. .Combat is similar to the classic titles, but with an Origins-like limited weapon durability. .Weapons range from everyday items to small arms. .Damage is indicated by bloody clothes. .Two enemies revealed: The Creeper (I think that's the one in the screenshot above) and The Screamer. .Weapon specific paths return from Silent Hill: Homecoming. .About 10 hour campaign. .Time of day shifts (Real time not confirmed)
  2. Damn you all for posting games I know nothing about.
  3. Hey hey - so wait, do we have screenshots from tonight as well?
  4. And another trailer.. I don't understand half of it but there are some new scenes and it shows Vincent making decisions by pulling ropes. Also: This is the type of area that Vincent arrives at after ascending the stairs that make up the game's action-oriented nightmare stages. Here, you can speak to the sheep to get new information and learn new skills for use in the stages. You can also exchange coins to purchase new tools. At the end of the red carpet is the "Confession Room." Based of Famitsu's description, it's not entirely clear what this is. It seems that Vincent will hear a mysterious voice from the room, asking him some bizarre questions. Enter the room, and Vincent will be faced with his next challenge. (The room may just be a way of going to the next stage).
  5. Mmh.... okay. But not before 20.30.. so that's 19.30 GMT I guess.
  6. I like the avoiding fights part.. because we all know combat in Silent Hill sucks.
  7. This. I'm way too tired to do anything, I won't be of much help out there on the battlefield!
  8. Ooooh, I thought FLD had posted one that no one got yet.
  9. Did my thread die already? I don't know, FLD. Haven't seen that one before!
  10. More info on the new Silent Hill. It's officially called Silent Hill: Downpour. -demo takes place in the outskirts of SH -the town is so large that you can use a subway system to travel between focal points -sidequests -avoid fights when possible, better to deliver incapacitating blows and run away (so good!) -boss fights with quicktime events (not so good) -water plays a huge part in the game, bizarre water effects like what looks like an upside down river flowing across a ceiling is described -prominent locations in the older installments like schools and hospitals will not return -the southeastern part of Silent Hill that you see on the maps in the older games but never go to is the area that will be explored in Downpour -no weapon inventory, weapons weaken and break -there will be puzzle difficulty options

      That's truly heartwarming guys.

  12. I thought you said no girls. Anyway I think I might make it tonight, if you guys are playing. I don't have a headset though. And I'm not very good. Hmmm. What time are you planning?
  13. Wow, Toshi, good luck with that.. I stopped like halfway through and I just know I won't pick it up anymore. Bit of a shame, really.
  14. Last night I was on the run from the police and I had this amazing motorcycle that went super fast. When the police almost caught up with me I decided to hide on the roofs and that's how I escaped. Interesting.
  15. I'm staying in this year, a couple of friends are planning to come over so we can make our own party. I went out last year but that was a... strange night, way too crowded, way too expensive, way too drunk and way too dangerous on the way back. We got stuck in a street with fireworks flying all around us. It was a fun night, but this year I want to stay home.
  16. I got it on PSN. I was really curious and just went along with the singleplayer, which is also enjoyable. Yesterday a friend came by and we decided to play co-op together, it was ridiculiously fun. They have online co-op, but from what I've heard hardly anyone ever plays.
  17. I always go with mages - I always choose magic over fighting, for some reason.
  18. I totally agree. I know better than to have high expectations, but still I would love for this to work. People always say how Uncharted is the 'new' Tomb Raider. That's sort of true, but unlike TR, Uncharted does develop and offers great gameplay. I would love to see a new TR game do the same. @Brain: You should totally play Guardian of Light with someone next to you on the couch/whatever. Co-op is really fun, and you need to communicate a lot.
