Prototype was horrible.. I remember picking it up for a few bucks, and I immediately sold it after playing for two or three hours.

I got the Bioshock 2 Collector's Edition a month ago for 20 euros. I'm not a big Bioshock fan at all, but damn that vinyl LP makes up for it.

Well, they can hate gaming, but I have to add I wouldn't accept whining/nagging constantly about it either.. If that's the fact they shouldn't even be with you in the first place. They can hate it, but at the same time get over it, if you will.

Ah, okay. In that case I'd still go with option 4, it's still not a dealbreaker. If my significant other hated my hobby, that would be his problem. Gaming does not define who I am, it's just part of my interests.

I voted: It doesn't matter one bit. I could be with someone who utterly hates them. My ex had a hobby I didn't like (fishing), but I just let him be - as long as he enjoys it, right? It should be the other way around as well. That said, gaming together is (almost) always fun. It's a plus, but it's not a dealbreaker.
