lol I'm not the only one who thought of this. 1680x1050 On topic: the last time I really made a resolution and was serious about it was like... '09, when I realized I went through all of 2008 without going to one live show, the first year in like... 10. So I made it a resolution to see more live music. And totes fulfilled it. I can't really think of anything pressing enough that I need to make a resolution about it. Maybe manage my (attendance) points better and have more time off?

I'll second Mirror's Edge 2. And I think it's silly to complain about the shooting of that game, I went for (and got) the trophy for not shooting anyone. Although, I'll admit out of frustration there was a few time I'd do a takedown, grab the gun, and start blasting people. Then I'd reset the game and pick up from my last save. And I'll add The Darkness. I really enjoyed the first one, the story was entertaining, the writing had some great lines, the game was fun, I'd really love to see a sequel.

Shit, my boss is pretty sympathetic to my situation. It's HIS boss that's the source of all this, really. And I haven't seen his ass since before Christmas. He's enjoying time with his family while we're all stuck at work earning his salary.

I'm strange and blink-182 remains like my favorite band. I finally got to see them for the first time with the reunion tour with =W=. It was also like the biggest concert that wasn't a "festival" or what have you (Warped Tour and the like) that I've ever been to. These are from that actual show: "Kansas City Perverts and BBQ" The only video I can find from that show of the Dammit finale is the one I recorded and uploaded, but I don't feel like posting that one. Oh, and seeing AFI is special each time. My opinion of their music changes from album to album but damn if they don't put on one of the best live shows, imo.

After finding everything out about Nintendo and the VC we haven't really been buying stuff off it; haven't even looked at it in a long time. Nintendo really needs to fix their shit with the VC. Super Mario World was a big draw for me. also; can this thread be used for a VC wishlist?

last concert I was at was... a band I can't think of but know a few of their songs with CAKE and the Smashing Pumpkins. the Smashing Pumpkins were very disappointing and we left totes early into their set. Hoping to go see Dropkick Murphys with Against Me! (which is a strange combination, I figured DKM would be a little more selective after the DKM/A-F tour back in...98?) early next year. and I'm hoping MSI tours again, I have fun at their shows.
