I don't know if there has been anything mentioned previously about it, but is there a good alternative to using the basic Android OS on the Xperia Play. Am in the UK, and it seems very, very limited.

Yep, originally it was blacks, then it was gays, then its something else. X-Men was born and is fueled by whatever prejudices exist in the world at the time the stories are written. That having been said, First Class was a very good film, with some extra writing for the Xavier and Eric.

How do ya rank up hours on Mass Effect? Lots and lots of replays? -

Possibly FF: Dissidia. Got a 130+ hours on that. Maybe also racked up a few hours on the old SD games and DBZ: Budokai 3, but those weren't tracked. -
The old Ultimates stuff is very good. They had a big crossover called "Ultimatum" in 2009, and then all the Ultimate books started to come with the heading "Ultimate Comics", and they just haven't been as good. Ultimate Spidey, X-Men, Fantastic Four and Ultimates 1 & 2 are all very good though.

To be honest, I can understand why EMA was brought in, but for the most part it was never used in the way it was meant to and I'm not too upset it's gone (though I never got it despite being just off). It wasn't a large enough amount to make students attend lessons if they didn't want to, and when they did get it, it was spent of cigarettes and such rather than transports and resources they require. If ya ask me, it should've been kept, but distributed on a student card or as vouchers that can only spent on transport or other things students need. Also the means of testing for whether students got the funding wasn't particularly fair either.
-
Dean, you may want to remove the EMA paragraph. Since the Coalition Government came into power, that's been scrapped. Also, Infant and Junior Schools can be separate schools as mine were. Though that having been said, they have since merged into one school. And just to confuse the Yanks, it is entirely possible to take A-Levels at College, and BTECs at Sixth Form as well (though the latter is rarer). Also the prices for Uni are right for the moment, though those may be changing (go up) in the next couple of years. Hence a lot of rage by students and young people towards the current government.

The majority of the UK population are idiots and find it difficult to cross boxes, let alone understand how to rank candidates...

Thor. Very good Summer Superhero movie. Few bits I didn't like, but overall well enjoyed. Next stop, Captain America =D

Who's your favourite TV detective?

Anime and cartoons are certainly both words in the west accustomed to different genres (they may mean the mean the same in Japan, but mean they are different in the west, ala comics and manga). Anime is mostly defined as animated series made in Japan (be it Pokemon, Hellsing, or Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt (which has a more western-style)) and cartoon has a mostly defined style as being for western children (Tom & Jerry, Dexter's Laboratory, etc.). Obviously, each crosses over in terms of terms of target audience, and even in style, but for the most part they can be differentiated.
-
I did say "generally". Of course there are exceptions to the rules. Like there are obviously anime shows aimed at kids, e.g. Pokemon, Stitch!, Dragon Ball Z and Digimon.
-
I do differentiate between cartoons and anime, as cartoons are generally for children, while anime can often not be. As for shows like Simpsons, Family Guy, I may be tempted to call them Adult cartoons, or adult animated shows. As for comics and graphic novels, for me, comics are the single issues, graphics novels are trade paperbacks and collected editions.

The Bount arc is watchable (though I have no desire to own it on DVD). The later filler, and one-off fillers complete kill the pacing of the series though, which even in canon parts is slow. I found watching it as new releases came out that it would get to a good part... and then go in filler arcs. Most annoying thing ever. I'd rather have just had seasonal breaks. I haven't watched it since the end of the last arc now though.

I hope turn-based RPGs don't die. I prefer them to wannabe MMOs like FFXII.

There's not much I disagree with there, although I thought HHH/Taker was too over-the-top with all the finisher kick outs and the story it told was pretty crap and could be summed as "Triple H does finisher, Taker lies on floor, Triple H shouts at him". It didn't really grab me, but too be fair, I do despise Hunter. Orton/Punk was my much of the night, while everything else was disappointing and never lived up to their potential. Oh, and after the Vince/Bret debacle of last year, I honestly thought they would've learnt what not to do, but yet the exact same mistakes were made when it came to Lawler/Cole. Too much focus on the entertainment side, which ended up not being entertaining, and not enough focus on the sports side which was where there was a lot of potential. On the other hand, I can't recommend ROH's "Honor Takes Center Stage" iPPVs on gfl.tv from this past weekend enough. SOO MUCH better value, and not one bad match on either show, and a lot of very good ones.

That takes a lot of skipping for me. I am loving the "Smart Mode" feature of Guayadeque Player, although it does play already popular songs a little too much. Still good though.
-
My problem with this generation is that I don't like many of the designs, and that makes it a huge turn-off for me. Like for those posted, I like 2 of the 7 mentioned, those being the starter, and the armoured dino

WMP does show Artist and Album Artist tags, so you can have the actual artist first, and then Various Artists for the album artist. I prefer that, as I'd rather keep the album together, rather than each track show up in a different band's folders.
-
Depends on my OS. On Windows, I use WMP to arrange my library, as it puts albums into a top by Album Artist and then Album Name, rather than individual track artists. If I have a soundtrack, I want to be able to find a folder containing the whole of that soundtrack's album. I don't want it individually separated. Worse is when it's the odd song from albums that "feature" an additional artist. Some programs will file that separate, which to me, is bloody stupid. Playing music though is all done by with WinAmp though. On Ubuntu 10.10, I run Guayadeque, which does some features like Visualisations and proper labelling and library management, is easy to scroll through, can find lyrics, last.fm data, store streaming radio and podcasts, and has a "Smart Mode" to select tracks similar to the last.

I'm pretty sure it was Bulbasaur, and it was nicknamed "Killer" or "Predator"

It certainly was a great return, and more than likely the high-point of 2011 so far. I do hope the WWE top can themselves, else the next 10 and a half months are gonna be disappointing.

Mirror's Edge had a comic too. Though that wasn't very good to be honest, though I think part of my opinion of that comes down to the art. They should've got some of the game's artists to work on the comic.

No MEdge2? FUCK THE PUBLISHER! Awesome concept that just needed a bit of refinement...
