Horrible parent is a stretch. Useless and lazy parent I'd certainly agree with, along with generally a horrible person for blaming her problems on the big corps rather than her son.

I have heard it is an arse to remove credit cards from the system, so MS need to make that easier, but I have no sympathy for the family. Even if they use the excuse of "it costs points, not pounds", you still have to buy the points which is explicitly stated with a price.

I generally use Firefox for all but HQ video streaming. I just like having access to the variety of extensions available.

Diamond and Pearl are a little slow to start, and I felt Platinum was a huge improvement over those 2. As for Black/White, outside of Smugleaf and his evolutions, none of the new designs excite me, so I honestly don't think I'll bother.

Just finished watching Studio Ghibli's Whisper of the Heart, as it was on TV. Certainly an enjoyable way to kill a couple of hours, and I may pick it on DVD if I find it for a fiver or less. Not my favourite of their films though.

I'm not usually one to complain, but today has had some pretty poor stories posted so far.

Currently working through my signed copy of "Countdown to Lockdown" by Mick Foley. It's his fourth memoir, and it's not as good as he previous books, but it still some interesting stories within it.

I'm certainly liking the Caps costume more than the new Spidey one. I just don't see how the Spidey costume is meant to be believable if the character is meant to be in high school. Caps' costume looks actually usable.

The new voice actor managed to find a similar voice for Alphonso, plus they used the same "filter" on the voice as they used on the original dub. I say "filter" because if I remember right, they said they used a colander (or something similar) over the mic

Alphonso had a new voice actor in the English dub of FMA: Brotherhood. I remember that from listening to the cast commentary on the first DVD. Most of the rest of the cast are similar with a couple of small changes.

Durarara!! is one of my favourite anime series, but I have to agree that I was disappointed by the ending. A lot of build-up that it didn't really pay off on. If the ending was better, It'd likely top off my list of favourite shows. Fantastic set of characters, and a well paced show for the most part, but could've done with just one more episode and a bit more of an epic finale along with a bit more time for exposition.

Plan for tonight is pub about 7pm for a few drinks and a curry Typical Wednesday night really.
