When online, Helghast is the team to be, brotha.

I swear, someone's gotta make an alternate scene with Dumbledore entering a room or scene screaming that... ROFL!

I have to say, this was the best day ever! Well, as far as receiving packages in the mail and finding items in a store goes. I recently had an issue with my Nintendo Wii where it couldn't play my Mario Kart Wii disc very well. All my other games worked on the console, but the stranger thing was the Mario Kart Wii disc played on other Wii consoles. So I sent it in, FedEx dudes helped package it (though one was a douche) and I waited. It didn't take long at all. Supposedly there was a broken component of the disc drive, and I know how come. I took my Wii to an activity and about two/three times someone knocked it down from its vertical stand. We were playing Mario Kart Wii at the time, so that connects the dots. Anyway, got it back today and the thing sounds smooth. That's not it, as the UPS guy had another package for me: my Tron Legacy Soundtrack and Daft Punk poster bundle! Though I haven't found a 27 x 39 frame in stores (Wal-Mart had 27 x 40), I'm just happy to have it! Just means I'll have to do more online shopping along with my Christmas stuff. Lastly, as I am both a huge nerd and Tron fan, I got a Tron figure for cheap. This may not seem like a big deal, but I kinda enjoyed feeling and thinking like a kid again. I'm sure you guys did the same tactic, so it was nostalgic when I realized kids had hidden the good stuff behind all the unwanted stuff. It's impossible to keep a toy section organized, so why should I think one hook has all the same figures? Now that I think about it, there was that Big Sister figure a while ago...

Nicolas Cage's Payin' The Bills: Part 35
CorgiShinobi replied to Chewblaha's topic in Entertainment Exchange
I wouldn't say this was a great film, but I had the option of walking away from it (roommates hard drive + Blu-ray player) and I sat through the entire thing without looking away. I mean, a lot of moments where I was uncomfortable and some a bit disturbed. Also, I've said it before, but Nicolas Cage was the only thing good in Sorcerer's Apprentice. About halfway through that movie, Jay Baruchel and his character bored me to frustration. I almost stormed out of the theater, but as it was a family event, I sucked it up. I wasn't alone though as my father right beside me was feeling the exact same way. -
I haven't watched the anime for either in a long time. I really hope Kabuto doesn't gain too much power. I like how he's dicking around with Madara, but the Orichimaru tactics should be dead. All the cheap bullcrap of, "He's dead! Oh wait, he turned into little snakes, or shed his skin, or regurgitated a new body, or now he's a giant albino snake w/ hair!" Bleach: Main character, 'nuff said.

Man, I may have to move the PS3 into the living room. Get the roommates/neighbors in on the action.

I was gonna say, though I don't have New Vegas (waiting for possible GOTY Edition), there's no way Bethesda would be that subtle when it comes to a perk. I mean, I don't think the euphemism is said often, but what comes to mind when you think "Confirmed Bachelor?"

Yeah, I'm not logging in until the delete account feature is active.

I'm wondering if my coworker was/is a Kotaku member. Lately I've received two emails from him that were spam. He's into video games, and even if Kotaku isn't perfect anymore, it's a well-known gaming blog.

I will say, sometimes it's entertaining to just browse through the titles available. It's like Netflix must have a number of employees who are tasked with finding old bargain bin DVDs.
-
I only instant stream on Netflix, so when they created the two new subscriptions, I took the $8 a month plan. It's awesome, but I find it hard to find something everyone would like to watch when you simply browse the titles without searching. I mean, I can find something for myself, but there's always gotta be someone who takes issue with a movie.

Deja vu I have an iPod Touch 8GB; never have had a problem. I don't hate Apple, but I don't partake in their products often. I owned two Creative Zen MP3 players before the iPod, each one was a steaming pile of crap. Well, the Zen Touch wasn't that bad at first, but it started to degrade over time. I don't mean like typical wear-and-tear, everything from the battery and interface would go down hill. It served its purpose and it convinced me to purchase another Creative player... Biggest waste of money in my recorded history. It use to be called the "Creative Zen," but over time I think it has changed its name to Zen MX. It was suppose to be a great media player, with extra storage via a SD card slot. Yeah, good luck playing anything on it! Videos would cause it to freeze, the screen would shift to where the right side was on the left and vice verse. Hell, sometimes it wouldn't turn off and I can't count the number of times I used a paper clip to reset the device. iTunes is bloated, but it's not the worst thing in the world. My iPod displays Korean characters, and if you have a Touch, creating a playlist is simple. Syncing only takes a long time if you have apps with huge file size, and really that only happens when there's an update for the app. Still, if you have a smart phone, getting a Touch would be counter intuitive. I mean, I've seen the new iPod Touch as my roommate won one at a company Chirstmas party, but you would be better off spending money on something that simply plays music. That new iPod Nano is, like, as big as a checkerboard piece, but for the life of me I haven't operated one so no comment. All I can say is my experience has taught me to stay away from Creative. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.

It would appear that someone was trying to get into my old email account. I typed in my password and it tells me I'm locked out because there were too many attempts to login. Needless to say, I'm glad I have multiple passwords. Even as a precaution I created a new set of passwords. I'm so deleting my Gawker Media account when it's available.
-
Could be a phishing attempt, so I would leave it alone. That same material is on all the Gawker sites, so it wouldn't be hard to sound official.

See, I saw only this one scene when I was five-years-old. It shocked me, but it fed my curiosity. It was unlike any movie I had seen at the time and so I would subconsciously be on the search for the movie with "a killer rabbit." When my sister and her friends rented Holy Grail, it was like a large burden was lifted off my shoulders.
-
That's what gets me too. I mean, I have an idea where it could go, but it's pretty much a container for all the stuff you receive.
-
It's referred to as the "Helghast Edition" and runs for $130. Of course, it does include a lot to justify the price. Details in the image.

I'm saving up for the Collector's Edition. Considering I won't have much to do next semester, I can afford to play Killzone's online multiplayer a bit more. I never played the first game, but Killzone 2 is one of my favorite FPS games. Last I heard, the Alpha/Beta for online was so good, they could literally sell it as is and make millions. Also, I too want Rico to die a horrible and painful death.

I think the issue here is that it doesn't matter if you have a unique password if some hacker can download the database of passwords and decrypt them. Unique as in there's no duplicate password on any other online account. If someone hacks my Facebook, that password only applies to Facebook. They're not going to be able to get onto my email or bank account. Vice versa with my two email accounts now as I use to have an "email password."
-
Yeah, it's the community that got me into posting at Kotaku. I namely wanted to apply some perspective in some misguided conversations, but I found that was far and in-between. Man, I hate this feeling that I've become vulnerable due to some blog I rarely visit. I'm pretty sure I'm safe, and have been from the start, but the paranoia that I've forgotten a site with the same combination is out there. Oh well, it can't be vital if I can't remember it. As long as my finances are secure, it's all good. Of course, now that I'm actually obtaining a dozen of Facebook friends per week, that would be an important aspect of my online identity to maintain. Good thing I have a unique password for Facebook.

Sometimes I forget to check on the manga uploads. Bleach has become dull to me, and One Piece is... well, I've never been big on it. Truly, Naruto is keeping my attention because of the zombie ninja. In fact, we should be getting a Kakashi x Zabuza rematch soon!

Copy-Pasta from Ye Olde Forum: "My account was compromised, but I only use that account's username-password combination on Kotaku and this[other] forum. I received that email from Hint.io as well, but I think I'm even more safe as I've shifted to a new email service months before this crap. The Gawker Media account uses my old email, but I really can't think of anything important that uses the same password. They can't log into that email account as the password is different... right?" It's good to have a set of passwords, especially for different services (i.e. forums, bank account, social network). I'm paranoid like Mister Jack, so I went around changing a few important security options. I mean, hackers can do some amazing things with the little information they acquire. So yeah, I'm going to delete my Gawker Media account when the time comes. I barely post on any of the sites anyway as I've gone back to being merely a reader.

I learned of the site today, and it would explain why things seemed a little quiet over at the other... one... Yeah...
