Wow, I didn't even know AM&TW was out...

Maybe it's a rural Kansas thing to say versus.

I hadn't been tempted before, but I am now. For some inexplicable reason though they remastered God of War 3 for PS4, but not 1 & 2, so that makes it less convenient than it should be.

Just beat Curse of Osiris, but now I have to get my light level from 253 up to 310 before starting Warmind. I really have no interest in doing that. Why must this game have so much built-in tedium? The core gameplay is a lot of fun, but damn. Warmind is the one I was more looking forward to, too.

God of War I've never played any of the others, but I really liked this one a lot. The ending was a little anticlimactic I felt like, but overall it was an excellent game. I will be all over a sequel.

TCL 49S405, a cheap 49-inch 4k HDR TV to replace my current 47-inch 1080p TV I use for gaming. It's not the fanciest TV by a long shot, but it's very highly rated for gaming, with extremely low input-latency, and at $300 the price is unbeatable.

Load a previous save?

From what I understand these are just for their animatronic shows, so it's already robots doing everything, and this just expands their abilities.
-
I've never heard it said with an "and" in the middle.

In conversation yes, usually, though sometimes you'll hear "Roe versus Wade". In actual court it's always "Roe versus Wade" though.

I've been on the fence about those for a while. I might get them if I ever get my backlog back down.

Valkyria Chronicles, baby!

Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiine... *goes to Games You've Bought thread*

Ahhhh! It's down to $6.79 on the Steam sale. I'm super torn, because it's not the lowest it's been, but you have to go all the way back to December to find a lower price (or really any kind of significant sale) so I don't know what to do...
-
Yeah, I'm super looking forward to that game, the demo was lovely.
-
It must be tiny though, I can't imagine it being comfortable to use.

So I'm weirdly actually starting to look forward to the Tales of Vesperia remaster? Tales of Destiny was the first JRPG I ever really liked. I tried Symphonia but couldn't get into it, and that kind of put me off the series, but watching videos of Vesperia and I think I might try this one out.

I've never understood the appeal of skins. The one that came with my copy of Persona 5 looks badass, but I can't imagine actually wanting to put it on my controller.
-
Well that's terrifying.

Since I can only take about 1 mission in Shadow Tactics in a single sitting, I've also started God of War. I played about an hour and 20 minutes earlier, just finished the prologue, and so far so good. At first I didn't think I was going to like the combat much, but now that I've figured out how to counter with the shield I'm having a lot of fun.
-
Oh, huh, for some reason I was thinking the lowest it ever got was $10, but you're right, ITAD says the historical low is $4. You're not the boss of me!
-
@FLD Yeah, I've never played anything like this before. I have seen articles talking about how it's brought back the dead genre of realtime tactics, but I never even knew that was a thing. I actually assumed this was turn-based when I first started it.
-
Yeah, I'll probably get VC1 as soon as it goes back down to $10.
-
Yeah, with MS releasing everything on Windows (even Halo Infinite is confirmed for Windows) there's no reason to get an Xbox if you have a gaming PC.

I've been playing Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun. It's like XCOM but in real-time, and set in feudal Japan. It's a hell of a lot of fun, and quite challenging. It feels hard, and often I get to parts that are impossible, but then if I walk away for a while suddenly a solution will come to me while I'm doing something else. I'm addicted. I'm especially glad it's good, because it came in the Humble Bundle that I got for The Long Journey Home, and I ended up not liking TLJH, so I'm glad there's something good in it.
