  1. Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiine... *goes to Games You've Bought thread*
  2. Ahhhh! It's down to $6.79 on the Steam sale. I'm super torn, because it's not the lowest it's been, but you have to go all the way back to December to find a lower price (or really any kind of significant sale) so I don't know what to do...
  3. Yeah, I'm super looking forward to that game, the demo was lovely.
  4. It must be tiny though, I can't imagine it being comfortable to use.
  5. So I'm weirdly actually starting to look forward to the Tales of Vesperia remaster? Tales of Destiny was the first JRPG I ever really liked. I tried Symphonia but couldn't get into it, and that kind of put me off the series, but watching videos of Vesperia and I think I might try this one out.
  6. I've never understood the appeal of skins. The one that came with my copy of Persona 5 looks badass, but I can't imagine actually wanting to put it on my controller.
  7. Since I can only take about 1 mission in Shadow Tactics in a single sitting, I've also started God of War. I played about an hour and 20 minutes earlier, just finished the prologue, and so far so good. At first I didn't think I was going to like the combat much, but now that I've figured out how to counter with the shield I'm having a lot of fun.
  8. Oh, huh, for some reason I was thinking the lowest it ever got was $10, but you're right, ITAD says the historical low is $4. You're not the boss of me!
  9. @FLD Yeah, I've never played anything like this before. I have seen articles talking about how it's brought back the dead genre of realtime tactics, but I never even knew that was a thing. I actually assumed this was turn-based when I first started it.
  10. Yeah, I'll probably get VC1 as soon as it goes back down to $10.
  11. Yeah, with MS releasing everything on Windows (even Halo Infinite is confirmed for Windows) there's no reason to get an Xbox if you have a gaming PC.
  12. I've been playing Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun. It's like XCOM but in real-time, and set in feudal Japan. It's a hell of a lot of fun, and quite challenging. It feels hard, and often I get to parts that are impossible, but then if I walk away for a while suddenly a solution will come to me while I'm doing something else. I'm addicted. I'm especially glad it's good, because it came in the Humble Bundle that I got for The Long Journey Home, and I ended up not liking TLJH, so I'm glad there's something good in it.
  13. So Shadow Tactics is super cool, but absurdly hard. I'm on the third mission and have absolutely no idea how I would even begin to go about sneaking past all these guys.

Turns out it wasn't that hard, I'm just an idiot who forgot about certain moves my team has...

  14. I am a consumer whore. Although all told, with my launch PS4 trade-in, this all only cost me $300.
  15. This lack of Splinter Cell confuses and enrages me.

      Wait, what? Which version, X360?

Yeah, 360. I also played the OG Xbox one before I got my 360, but don't remember it hardly at all.

It's been a while but I remember the last--gen version being MUCH better. It was made by the Chaos Theory team while next-gen was Shanghai, I think. I played it on PS2 when it first came out and I remember not being impressed by the PS3 version when I played it a few years later.

  16. Because I've heard very good things about The Witcher 3, I just don't have any interest in playing the third entry in a series where I haven't played the first two. Cyberpunk doesn't have that issue. *Edit - It's not that I think I wouldn't like the Witcher 3, I think I probably would, I just don't want to go into it without the first two.
  17. @deanb I bounced off Witcher 1 after like 8 hours, and tried Witcher 2 twice and bounced off both times, so I never even attempted Witcher 3.
  18. ... Is it doing that? I guess it's possible if the new consoles come out next year, but I'd expect 2020 and for TESVI to be cross-gen.
  19. I also got this, within 10 seconds of the end of the Dying Light 2 segment.
  20. Yeah, cyberpunk is usually like Gotham: always night, usually fall/winter. I like the brightness and colors too. I'm actually looking forward to this game, even though I bounced off the Witcher games. I hear those games got much more playable with the later ones, so I'm looking forward to getting in on the ground floor of a series where they've already done that learning.
  21. Sea of Solitude looks like it could be cool.
  22. They're not making any more of the SE Go games? I love those games...
