Everyone knows about Street Fighter, fireballs and Honda's moves are cheap in general. Back in the days it was a pain to battle anyone who kept spamming the crap out of fireballs, which seems to still be the case today.

Might be silly, but the rule among my brother and I anytime we together for a little Mario Kart was that the "flying blue shell" was off limits. It was a bit cheap, you could keep it for awhile and just used it at the end to pretty much take a person out of the race.

There aren't too many games that stump me in ways that make me feel I can't game, but they do exist, I believe they exist for every gamer out there. You know, that game that makes you turn off your console after an hour of fighting the same boss, an hour of going through the same level or even an hour of looking at the same darn puzzle. One such game, for me at least was Ninja Gaiden 2. That game took away my manhood and left it on the floor for others to play with. It was the type of game that made me forget Ninja Gaiden existed and made sure Role-playing games were the only type of genre I would ever truly enjoy. Ethan Hunt would have given up on this game. What are some of the hardest video games you've encounter? Tell us of your shame, post pictures and give us reasons for why the game was difficult.

Oh, so many sequels I'd loved to see. Valkyria Chronicles (on consoles) -Not sure I'd change much, the concept and gameplay was great, would just want them to further the story with the same characters in place. Final Fantasy Tactics -Again, the game was beautiful. I guess in 2011, new graphics(duh), more classes, more of a free movement without grids? something like the game I mentioned above. Just too many to name, truth be told I just want a console FFT sequel.

Not a bad list, especially since it was his opinion. Overall, I think most of us would change just a few things but the list is pretty solid.

Commit, it's very simple but the hardest thing to do. If all goes well, my resolution is to have a normal life, actually settle down and enjoy that life I have in front of me. I do have wedding plans for 2011 so I guess that is the first step to a new life.

Final Fantasy IX. The story, the cuteness, the over world view? Played it recently and it's still my favorite Final Fantasy game ever. I invested a lot of time on it, as much as I loved the other ones this one still grabs me.

Well I don't get in character or much. For me it's mostly what I customise the character as with a bit of my play style of choice thrown in. Like for Demon Souls it's not like I made a point of using Tridents or similar. Or a cutlass in Oblivion. Same, role-playing usually by customization. I might change the weapons I used or so on, but I ain't actually invested emotionally in my character.

Currently enjoying the Assault Carbine from Fallout:NV. It's a good gun when you don't want to use your good weapons(lack of ammo, or low durability). Plus, it looks cool.

I truly thought with all the talk of multiplayer games that single player gamers were a rarity, nice to see so many in the club. I have to agree that Borderlands was not a single player type game at all, it was simply a loot and enemy ass kicking game, one that can only be appreciated with a group or couple of friends. Not saying it's not possible, but I played an extreme amount of hours and always felt like I was missing out, just wasn't as fun. Resident Evil 5 should have been a one player game, there's no reason for the actual game to only have a multi-player mode so that if I do play single player, I must have an companion with me. The game was wonderful, but it really took the horror out of the game when Sheila could just revived your ass at anytime, and how could I be scared when I got someone watching my back? Disappointing.

Demon Souls, a bored fest and agree with Oblivion above, I bought it AFTER Fallout 3 and I expected so much, just boo. Add in Borderlands, no story and while it's a incredible loot game (I LOVE THAT), it's boring by yourself so bummer. I'll also add in Final Fantasy XIII, not sure what the heck happened there. I'll stop, I could just fill this whole page with games. Let me throw in Blue Dragon! Half mercy, I went in expecting a charming and fun game and got the most boring piece of crap Dragon balls infested game. I paid only $5 and still feel rip off.

Didn't see this, I'm blind. Hmm...in 2010? Can't be that many Bioshock 2 Mass Effect 2 Fable 3 Resident Evil 5 Those are literally the only games I've beaten so far. The more I think about it...yup, the only ones I bother completing. I bought tons more games, but those above were the only ones were ending.

You know, you got some of the most amazing video games out there. Like Gears of War, Halo Wars and the very RPG worthy borderlands, and the only problem I have with them...is that I am a single player gamer. I have never played with another person that isn't family, I enjoy playing video games by myself and don't ever see myself changing that. It's not because I hate people (I really do), but because I like playing and stopping at my own time, I like gaming without competition, I am my own gamer and that's alright like it's alright to enjoy Multiplayer games. So I want to know if there are actual single-player gamers out there? What are some of the reason (if your a single-player) that you avoid multiplayer games? Would you ever get into them if given the chance? I'll admit, I hated Borderlands cause it was obviously built as a multi-player game, not that you couldn't enjoy it by yourself but it clearly went down 5 points out of 10 if you didn't have a partner. So there were times I wish I did have someone to play with, but again, I chose not to find anyone cause I just can't imagine playing with anyone. Here are some of my reason for gaming myself 1. Medical wise, I come and go at will, so you can't count on me to be there. 2. By choice, I don't want to be there XD I don't want a commitment 3. Most multi-players I know are hardcore, they take it extremely serious. I'm casual, and goofy. I'm sure I have other reasons, but the point of this thread is find out if we have actual single-player gamers, a rarity for sure, or is it? Not sure till you guys comment. Note: I do understand you guys casual multi-player gamers out there, but I don't think I can ever find someone who fits my personality. I truly was built to player single-player mode. TWSS
