Like you know how LIM is like THE go-to place for everyone on the forum to post in and all, even with all of its crap inside. It's like the Water Cooler of New Vegas, and seems like Tali feels that the other subforums are getting neglected when compared to New Vegas. Though, honestly, from my literal viewpoint, General Gaming seems to be pretty active every day, so I'm not sure if action should even be taken. Well, she could be talking about the general discussion of this stuff in Lego Iron Man (just guessing here at this point) and how more of it should be done in General Gaming… But I'm just throwing knives at this point, out of lack of knowledge. Yeah, LIM is what I meant. People will talk about everything from X360 to Pokemon and whatever else is on their minds there. It isn't bad, but a lot of it could be posted in the public gaming forums, where more people would be able to participate in enjoying it and actually be able to contribute. Well, yeah, LIM is kind of like ye olde Saloon of the normal Wild West town if you think about it. It's a place where people just say what's on their minds and chat with others and all. Though, honestly, I thought that the Status Updates feature on this forum kind of supplanted LIM in that regard (apparently not, though). I agree that there maybe needs to be more discussion in GGC, but you can't just have topics for every single little nuance in gaming. (Maybe some kind of General Gaming Chat thread could be started in GGC, but I'm just throwing out ideas at this point.)

"Retro" for me means that a generation of consoles automatically gets added to the nostalgia pile once they are two generations behind. And Jack, you're wrong. PS2 and Xbox will be retro by JUST the next generation after our current one, and in the generation after that, PS3 and X360 and Wii will be retro, while stupid hippie kids everywhere start wearing retro Kratos and Master Chief shirts and (thinking that) making references to the PS2/Xbox/Gamecube games will put them in the in crowd. Keep in mind that this is 3 generations after PS2 and Xbox. Meanwhile, the 8-bit and 16-bit era shall be seen as only a curiosity once again, and simply being too old to be cool… that is, until 70 years later, when futuristic hipsters living in New York City shall don the Triforce and Mario mushrooms on their holographic T-shirts, and thus the cycle shall begin anew again. Can I just say, "Fuck you," to all of the people today that are going into nostalgia mode over fucking cassette tapes? I mean dear god.

Oh man, did you remember the HUGE user backlash from EA's inclusion of Securom inside Spore? Things were pretty bad without it, but Securom was just a huge dealbreaker for me back then, and it still is now. EDIT: Also Jack, you rich, rich bastard, you keep getting richer and richer. If any of you have added me as a friend on Steam already, you would know that I play a TON of adventure games (point-and-click mostly) on my PC/Mac. So yeah, I'm mostly a single-player gamer because I just simply don't have the time to play online. Honestly, though, considering that nearly all the multiplayer games played here on the forum are FPSes, and that I nearly don't have ANY experience with an FPS, I'm pretty sure I'd just drag you guys down if I ever went online with you guys, anyway.
