  1. He's a sword-wielding guitar-strumming master criminal on a mission from God. She's a mentally unstable mute barmaid in the wrong place at the wrong time. They fight crime!

He's a globe-trotting gay stage actor haunted by memories of 'Nam. She's a vivacious gold-digging mercenary with her own daytime radio talk show. They fight crime!

      He's a guy. She's a girl. They fight crime!

      He's a girl. She's a tree. They fight crime.

  2. Speaking of Gamestop, I read a comment once where someone went to buy God Hand in Gamestop and the two clerks looked at him somewhat disgusted and said "You know that game got 3/10 on IGN?"
  3. But... that was the whole point... punching people in the face.
  4. I stopped playing Beyond Good and Evil after I reinstalled my OS and didn't backup my saved games. But it was a very good and fun game. Haven't played Psychonauts yet. Another example is God Hand. I think the 3.0/10 from IGN buried it. I think most reviewers missed the point of the game and it created a bad image for the game when sales were relevant.
  5. Eh, Kotaku will just say "Haters gonna hate."
  6. Aside from fighting games, I have mostly given up on playing random people because... well, I can rarely actually FINISH a match. MMOs are nice even if you don't team with others that often because the world feels alive. As for what I would like to see is an Elder Scrolls game with MP, akin to Borderlands. Just you and one or two more people. I would also like to see something similar in Minecraft. An ability to open a map and make it be P2P rather than server hosted.
  7. I'm game for anything except Real-time Strategies and sports games (except some ridiculous titles like NBA Jam, those are awesome). Real-time Strategies don't do the name of the genre justice IMO and sports games I just find boring.
  8. I have a few arguments as to why ragequitting is awful behaviour, the biggest one being you ruin everyone else's fun and it's unsporting behaviour. Now, there has been an argument I've been seeing more and more online, it being "I paid for the game to have fun. If I'm losing, I'm not having fun, so I have the right to just quit." Does paying for a game entitle you to do this? Should game developers go out of their way to think of solutions to lessen or stop ragequitting?
  9. Considering the console skyrocketed and sold MILLIONS, the only direction it can go after that is down. It had its run, it was a bloody success business wise. Now the only question is whether Nintendo's next home console will survive on a gimmick.
  10. You used three sentences! Cheater! Machete
  11. You storm into my castle, slay my servants, steal my riches and wreak havoc to my chambers? For what purpose? You want to be heroes? You assume that by conquering various challenges you set forth in your minds that the world will celebrate you for the rest of eternity? That evil would be vanquished? They will forget you before your puny lifespans end. And if I, who has kept even greater evils and chaos at bay by merely existing falls, the world will plunge into chaos until it produces true heroes, someone who has seen what true suffering looks like. Someone who has to fight for their freedom. You are not heroes, you are shortsighted fools calling forth the greatest tragedy of humanity. Minions; Castle; Castle after entering the "ultimate form", a taunting monologue echoing while the heroes walk through the ruins to reach me once more; First form music; . Attire. The first form slowly stands up from the throne and walks towards the heroes as waves and waves of minions are dispatched (of course, from behind the throne, running past me). The first fight is moderately difficult (or easy if the heroes have found the super secret weapon by killing the only entity in the game world stronger than me). The attacks are various sword swings of different range and damage. The ultimate form is the same in looks, but I fight with my bare fists which are, of course, far more lethal than a magic sword. The two most recognizable moves are walking with arms wide open and laughing. If I am attacked then, I teleport behind or to the side of the hero who attacked me and punch him/her in the face (very hard). If I am not attacked, I merely punch the hero from the front when I reach him. The second move is grabbing the character by the throat (short range, fast attack), jumping in the air while still holding them and then ramming my victim into the ground. Dying quote: "Enjoy your short-lived fame and 'hard earned freedom'. I only regret not being able to destroy you, because the blood of everyone you have doomed will be on my hands."
  12. You're worse than those pirates who steal cars! OT: That video from IGN looked nice.

Yea, the first two things that came to mind were Gunstar and Alien Soldier (both great Treasure games).

On their website it said 14.95 when I tried to do it via paypal.

  13. A lot of the new promised stuff sounds like what they said about Oblivion (why did Fable just come to mind...). I also hope that stupid persuasion minigame is done with. I know Admire/Bribe/Taunt from Morrowind was simple and broken with high Speechcraft and Personality, but going through the same wheel of fortune thing every time was pretty boring.
  14. It's probably the fact that he's the chief editor and lets various stupidity slide.
  15. Question of humanity > wine glass.
  16. Guilty Gear > Street Fighter. Less hadouken rejects.
  17. It's the movie rewritten in Shakespearian English and the plot set in Elizabethian times.
  18. Just finished The Two Gentlemen of Lebowski, pretty awesome read if you liked the movie. Gonna continue Groucho and Me when my exams are done.
  19. I think I like the Xbox one better, but both are very well made.
  20. Yea. He lost his arm in whatever war was popular at that time. WW2, Vietnam, Kosovo... I think they'll probably use Iraq as an excuse this time.
  21. Meant "doubt it's a real scene" as in real movie scene, not the emo-ish subculture.
