I think I'm going to start Berserk regardless of hiatus or not. I can only come across so many mentions and nods to it in games to ignore it. Edit: Volume 27... and The Boat is almost here. I can feel it.

I just learned about this game. Honestly, it just have to be alright and I'll be on board. Come on: Warhammer 40k SPACE BATTLES. Major points if warp jumps can go horribly, horribly wrong.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen Great game with some drawbacks like I wanting to start fresh but that would mean deleting my current mage because officially this game only supports one save file at a time. I can see why they didn't allow multiple Arisens with their pawns on a single account since it can really mess with a ingame credit system. Wouldn't a check to see who the pawns are coming from be sufficient in overcoming this potential exploit? So yeah, NG+ with a reworked character and pawn. This time on hard mode and an archer/assassin. I guess it will be a bummer if my stats becomes too fucked up due to switching from a mage. With that said... give me Dragon's Dogma 2! I want spears, halberds and shit. Just expanding and improving on this formula would be amazing. Port GOTY so far.

I watched and finished Making a Murderer. First of all, poor Halbach family. Secondly my overall impression and I'm putting it spoiler tags since maybe some of you want this story to unfold via the documentary:

DDDA control scheme for KB+M is just bizarre. It works for the most part but it has few annoyances. Menus that should be or can be hotkeyed are not like equipment and map. They did it for items so why not menus? Hitting escape to access it most of the menu is just odd. Additionally the space bar should sub in for the enter key in the menu and dialog. Some prompts you kind of have to use the enter key. The alternate is a mouse click which can trigger an attack if you are not careful towards the tail end of a conversation. So for me, a lot of switching to full keyboard controls (it works) for town work. I'm not getting arrested or killing anybody again. edit: E works. Like what the fuck!? Also seems like Ctrl and alt works for Insert and Page Up. Then there's the ballistas. Right trigger on the controller is mapped to F which is to fire the arrow/bolt. Right and left click is just to choose arrow types. F in other cases is to grab people or things. I would've figured it would be E since that is the use/interaction key but no, F. As for PC port exclusive Bow Mode which is bound to Q... I have no idea what that does. I can keep going with some other issues but I have to say this: I am loving this game. It has problems but the idea is just really neat. We need a Dragon Dogma 2 which attempts to address the issues and expand on this game. Slaying beasts in this game is actually fun. Tonight I finally took down a dragon in the western portion of the map. Thing's a beast. I'm not sure how I am going to do it when I do a melee character. Another first is a griffin during a story mission. Prior to this, I was having a hell of a time trying to engage one. Last night surprise was a lich of sorts. A completely random encounter that nearly killed me while I figure out how to fight it. Overleveling and a bit of kiting it is what saved me when I can blast it with powerful magics from behind a rock... now I want to fight a hydra out in the field. Edit: Also... it's odd how I'm looked at and referred as a man when I am a woman. Can't the Queen or whatever confide in another woman from outside the court!? I seriously don't want anything romantic... and there's the issue of the childhood friend... I'm sticking with Selene.

Most if not all games should come on PC to live forever.

About the trailer.

Surprising enough, the art style works most of the time. It haven't been consistent but when it works, it works really well. Some of the backgrounds are pretty gorgeous. As for the story, it's fun and a bit space piratey since they're rebels and this is Star Wars. Then you have Vader and all the dark side goodness. In the trailer above, Sith holocon! Some seriously interesting stuff.

Imagine Hillary or Sanders going through a full two terms. Since this is 2016, I guess it is about time to start talking about the coming primaries and the eventual election in November. Regarding aging, I'm not convinced that Sanders would make it through two and I'm even kind of unsure about one term. His running mate will be very important person to consider. On ideas, I suppose he got them and due to his age he means it but how much he can get done is up in the air as well... As for Hillary... she will be fine? I doubt she can get much done with the Republicans though. If she goes through two full terms, can you imagine how she will look like in the end? Honestly though, it's the senators, representatives and how things are done that could really use a change. Not just the Oval Office. Not sure what but that is my feeling when I think about Washington DC... It's just so daunting that you can't help but to shut out any thoughts about it.

So in the process of installing my new PSU I also reinstalled my old SSD. It worked initially but in the process of playing around with it it for some odd reason went to being not detected. I was about to completely wipe it since I think it still contains some elements of my old boot drive. No big deal, I'll just restart my computer to see if it comes back up. Nope! My current boot drive (a SSD) also goes undetected. This freaked me the fuck out but luckily unplugging my old SSD seems to resolve this issue. So what do you guys think is going on here? BIOS problems? SATA ports/Mobo problems? If my current SSD didn't go dark I would assume that my old SSD is junked but my old SSD going undetected was the main reason why I replaced it in the first place. So an old problem resurfaces. As a side note, modular PSU are pretty neat. No mess of extra cables to hide!

Vermintide L4D with a robust economy of sorts. Oh man, you can easily find yourself lost in trying to get the best loot which is more or less tied to a die roll. You can somewhat stack the odds to your favor with finding and finishing the level with tomes or grimores. Those give you better die to roll with but in game they take up inventory space and with the grimores, reduce the party's total health. There's also a forge that allows you to forge a higher tier weapon (with 5 lesser weapons), upgrade (for an ability) or to melt down for some upgrade currency. An alternate way to get better weapons is with an alter where you can use excess upgrade currency to get a new weapon. This economy is pretty neat. The melee combat is satisfying. Depending on your weapon and if the skaven is wearing armor, you might find yourself having to aim for their heads if your weapon cannot penetrate armor. Anyhow, I think my dwarf need blue tiered weapons to handle Hard. An extra ability would help against the rat ogre. Most my hard mode game overs was due to not being able to beat the rat ogre.

With that price, they should redo the backgrounds.
