  1. Eleven, I think most of us are on PC. We just haven't gotten together to play. And the worst I've seen is just three Lucios on defense of a point. Nothing like all Tracers and what you've shown. At that point, you can help but join in the on absurdity. Might as well have some fun.
  2. Saving up the currency to buy some skins, poses and intros for my mains*. I got to get Mei all cute up. Sprays and voicelines though are cheap and it's easy to choose one to stick to for the rest of the game. I already got those. Anyhow, Torbjörn is kind of fantastic to contest a cart during defense. He can lay down a turret and armor himself up (aka healing). Plus he is small. I've done this with Lúcio but he's pretty squishy and he doesn't do a lot of damage (his speed of running around the cart makes up for it though).Torbjörn's gun is pretty respectable. Contesting the cart seems to be a thing not a lot of people do but it can stall a cart for a minute or two at best. At least it can stall it for a good 5-15 seconds (less if someone knows what you are trying to pull) at which point your team should be around to help. One person can stall a cart pulled by 3+ people... if they patch it, I'll understand but be sad. * Defense, Support, Offense and Tank Main: Mei, Lúcio, Soldier: 76 and D.Va. Secondary: Torbjörn, Zenyatta, not sure but I'm trying out McCree and tank is pretty fluid. Edit: Eleven, I think we all get salty about the choice that the computer makes (don't get me started about the cards). Most of the time the PotG are pretty weak. And we should try to start teaming up. Playing with randoms is nice and all but some coordination would be a nice change.
  3. While I am not sure on the exact cause but make sure you're HDD or SDD can handle it, as in the write speed. My recordings have been hit or miss. Some parts are fine while others stutter like hell. I haven't tried using my SSD as a temp folder, which I assume is where the live footage is kept but I would hope a SSD write speed is fast enough. I lost some kind of neat plays to bad videos. Edit: Putting the temp folder on my SSD helped a ton. There's still some minor slow down but no stuttering. The slow downs might be not real because I'm not in control so it looks and feels all weird.
  4. It is. You can try to call 30 Gamestop stores to make sure it is not true.
  5. Delayed to August 9th. A reaction: https://twitter.com/jasonschreier/status/736151267215560705

    Pets!

Any tips on how to deal with a really smelly dog? For the past six months, my roommates and I have been dog sitting for one of our professors for a cumulative time of about a month. One thing we've noted is just how smelly she is. I think we have pinned it to her constant licking of herself and to her breath. So I hypothesize that I can really hammer down on her smell if I wash her really well, lotion her up (she seems to have dry skin?) and somehow upset her really smelly mouth ecosystem enough to replace it with a less smelly one. Sweet Tea got to live up to her name! She mustn't be Smelly Tea!
  7. Since I don't really have a perfect place to put this but: three time in a row. This one might tip over over the next 24 hours but hey, reusable first stage is quite the sure thing now. As for this video, this has to be one of the neater perspective I have seen. You go up and down.
  8. https://playoverwatch.com/en-us/career/pc/us/MaliciousH-1995 After three hours: it's a solid game with lots to learn (Hero cheat sheet). I feel like with the ability to swap out heroes comes quite a bit of balance. Your team could be getting their asses kicked but with drive and the right team composition, sometimes a win can be had. It's pretty great when that happens. Sure this game has the possibility to be stale (in 20+ hours maybe?) but the fluidity of the situation on hand keeps it interesting. I love using them two to push people off ledges. In the case of D.Va, pushing people back and then dropping a scuttle my mech. As you said, she is basic but alright on foot and in the case of blowing up the mech, everybody is running away.
  9. Regular edition. Umm... yeah. I might regret this? You guys can figure out how to find me.
  10. Dean, I get what you mean. For clarification though, what I mean when it is okay for kids is that the movie isn't dumb. I didn't lose brain cells like I can with some adult movies or questioning what the hell am I watching. I like the general premise of the movie where Red, the Angry Bird, saves the day because he can see through bullshit that other people cannot see. In this case, the hoodwinking by the Pigs. Then there's the typical crushing of a childhood hero so you yourself have to step up to the plate to do what needs to be done. The movie isn't shit, it just okay and that is fine. I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it but I wouldn't be opposed to watch it. As for it being unwatchable unless you're a child... I think people are thinking that because of the Angry Birds theme.
  11. To be fair it was on one half of the screen while I worked on my thesis and the price of free can minimize criticisms. If I paid for it and it was the only thing on my plate? Nah. If I noticed how some of the jokes went on for too long while working on my thesis, then it'll become more apparent if I focus on it. Also the story is kind of silly. As a kid film, again, it could be worse.
  12. The Angry Birds Movie. Note: I didn't pay to see this. For one reason or another, a streamer I follow showed a ripped copy from China. It might be a stream of a stream. I also didn't know this was a thing until a week or two ago when I was driving around the city and I spotted a billboard. Anyhow, it's an alright movie. It's silly but the plot makes sense for a kid movie. Some jokes are for kids (that goes on for a bit too long) while others are aimed for the adults in the room. Kids could watch worse movies.
  13. Gave the DOOM multiplayer a try. The demon mode is god mode which often comes with an one hit kill. It objectively makes it bad because it unbalances the whole game. Like shit man, half of my deaths were from demons. Some of the higher unlockable demons I can barely make a dent in their health before they fly across the hallways to kick my ass. Edit: Otherwise, it is pretty run of the mill multiplayer.
  14. I'm kind of bummed that I missed the beta. I'm interested but not enough to toss down $40 when Mirror's Edge Catalyst is just weeks away. Edit: I'm a little shit.
  15. http://fusion.net/story/306067/fullmetal-alchemist-japanese-cast/ Fullmetal Alchemist live-action movie that literally no one asked for. Still though, I wonder what they'll be doing. I don't think it'll be good though...

    English vs English

Alt+156 = £ Alt+157 = ¥ Alt+0128 = € Damn Euro screwing with everything. Now for some fun ones... Alt+0176 OR Alt+248 = ° Alt+241 = ± Alt+242 = ≥ Alt+243 = ≤ Alt+247 = ≈ I'm not sure why there are duplicates... There are Alt Codes for the Greek alphabet too. Note I never bothered to learn these since I do what Ethan do. Good old copy and paste. I'm not sure why...
  17. Why not both? But enjoy the potentially broken ports. This time around by what is currently available, the differences between the 1070 vs 1080 isn't as less as the 970 vs 980. The 970 just trounced the 980 on what you can get for the price. Kind of why I went with the 980ti (970 or 980ti?). On a related note, if I recall, the 1080 is about ~25% better than my 980ti. Absolutely beats it in VR games/apps. Two to three years on the 980ti can't come fast enough... a real job and 50%+ performance over my 980ti is all I need.
  18. It's the first time really doing it and I have to say, it is pretty exhausting to read up on most candidates' positions. The US Senate seat got 34 candidates to skim and research on. Even for the seats with less candidates, I'm nowhere near sure that I got a good handle of them all.
  19. If there is one HUGE black mark on Doom then I have to say it is unstable. So many crashes and as far as I can tell, no reason.

Just the game. It's a very quick process. For the first 3-4 hours, I got no crashes then for the 5-7 I got a bunch, 7 till beaten (~13 hours) I got no crashes and now I'm getting a bunch.

If the game was anywhere as snappy loading up as it was crashing, I wouldn't have as much problem. Those 20-35 seconds loading screens add up.

Try having Steam verify the files? It sounds like there's probably something specific that it's having trouble loading, so it's possible that there's a file that's corrupted or something.

  20. The lack of combat makes me kind of interested. Not to mention it looks gorgeous. Uncharted 3 was a slog to get through.
  21. Giving Bioshock Infinite another whirl. I never played it on max settings so this is a good time as any. I got to say though, I kind of do dislike the placement of loot/junk so early in the game (pre-baptism).
