I didn't read the article yet since its tl;dr for this time of night but... yeah, that is the nature of fighting a organization such as Al Qaeda. What the hell do they got to lose? They already commit to die and you can't really rape them of their land and resources much anymore... Their primary objective is to push the US and other Western powers out of their lands. They have home court advantage. Now the US got an ideology to beat. Tough thing to do and a thing you can't win with weapons. That is for damn sure. Man, will I see the end of this before I hit 30 or this shit the new Cold War? Meh...

I think his logic is severely flawed here, by the way. I get the sense that he & the other execs at Crytek were sitting there staring at some Crysis piracy numbers and doing the math in their heads... "X million pirated copies times $50 a copy... we lost hundreds of millions of dollars due to pirates!" when in reality God only knows how many of those pirates would have otherwise been paying customers. Even I get caught in that train every so often since its the easiest way to see how piracy can affect sales. Of course, you pointed out a major flaw. Hell, out of the number pirated, how many were the same person looking for a working copy? Let us not bring Gary into the discussion... I don't anyone can handle his girth.

Can't say I can add much more to what Rocky said since I have a very similar position. You can tell what sort of gamer I am with a PS3, 360 and a PC right in my face. It been more or less this way for many years, just haven't had a competent PC before December and man... I am in love. I can also see where Dean is coming from on all his points.

I suppose this would be a good place to ask... any other laptops/brands that can compare to what you get with the M11x after the discounts? The world of laptop specs and pricing is a bit fuzzy. Though... I want to strangle people who compare a desktop to laptops.
