I keep hearing(even now) that Nier is not another generic weeaboo grindan adventure. Is that really so? FFXIII-2 scares the shit out of me, but I want to play something on my console.

IMO, everyone should give it a shot at least. It's not a game for everyone, but it's not like most JRPGs out there.

Skip most of the sidequests and it's not. 90% of them mean fuck all anyways and you shouldn't use your materials to complete.

Launched my xbox360 for the first time in 6 months... hoow the fuck can people play games without 60 fps, AA and 1080p? My eyes are bleeding.

Battra, that argument died in 2006 when the Wii's library became shit and the PS3/360/PC one overtook it by ten thousand miles.
Skyrim, for instance, is far better than anything Nintendo has put out on the Wii, and I'm not exaggerating.

being a console only gamer these days, I don't know much beyond what the consoles can do. I've seen other peoples computers and videos, but not enough time to adjust to it.

Maybe their forum moderators are illiterate Indians, like their tech support guys? Also, it's funny how horrible that forum community is compared to the actual in-game community. The people I play with are mostly nice, polite and always ready to help. Well, except Russian scum.

Because they are retards. No sane person would post things on ANY official forum. Just look at battlelog, it's a fucking mess. Also, people who whine on forums are usually vocal minority, but devs still think that their opinion is important. Operative will be nerfed very bad in the upcoming patch because of this, I'm already thinking about respecing, lol.

Lots of Sorcs and Marauders on all servers. I think Powertech and operative(and their republic counterparts) are the least played classes. My next char will probably be light sided female sith juggernaut(tank spec).

I would, if the engine wasn't so god-damned clunky. It was barely tolerable the first time through, to me.

I play it still on my original XBox. No clunky-ness, but definitely down graphics from the PC.

Perhaps it was a poor choice of words on my side. I didn't imply that... forget it. BTW, It didn't make you literally invincible. I think 1 day is pretty quick for a patch. But they've got a lot of work on their hands, lots of things need improvements.

Pretty much this. EA, and its subsidiaries, have gotten a rather cruddy history of fucked up bans. Not helped by the lack of any clear policy. And that when they issue bans it tends to lock you out of paid for games. If you're afraid of people unbalancing the economy then 1) fix the glitch n 2)maybe have a sit down with CCP. There's not step 3 of banning people because your game has bugs in it. Is it wrong that about that and enjoying the game? I'm not ignorant, I just... you know, don't give a fuck.
