Not much you can do with a pirate username. Pirates can only be spooky as ghosts. And that's a stretch because Pirates of the Caribbean.

Ghost Pirate LeChuck is annoyed at your PotC reference.

  2. A large part of the reason why the PS3 browser sucked (apart from them just using the PSP browser) is down to it having just 256MB tops to play with. Should hopefully be a fair bit smoother this time around given it now has much more RAM (and also HTML5 is more of a standard than it was 7-8 years ago)
  3. Assuming they're running a HTML5 compliant browser, and I can't see why not, it should be possible.
  4. Where you reading it won't support flash drives? The FAQ clearly states: And nothing anywhere else counter to that saying that USB drives don't work. The only thing they have said is no to storing games and saves on external drives as a expansion method. Who still has a TV without HDMI (and can also afford a PS4)? Hence the whole "who is still playing audio CDs in this day n age". I'd imagine if you're someone that still does, you're going to use your hi-fi and not your recently purchased video games console and shiny HDTV to so.
  5. Not really, you can have increased sales of pre-builts increasing with new steam accounts. If anything it's reasonable to assume that original bulk of steam accounts are the more hardcore PC gamer types that are more likely to build their own, and later accounts are folks rocking whatever desktop or laptop they happen to have that'll run all the cheap and simple games steam is becoming known for. The top two GPUs on the h/w survey are Intel HD Graphics, accounting for over 8% (5.2million accounts) alone.

  7. Well on the PS4 side all this info is coming from their huge FAQ: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/10/30/ps4-the-ultimate-faq-north-america/ They actually have a minim size requirement of 160GB, which might imply in future SKU's a cheap-o/er 160GB PS4 is in the works like the 20GB PS3 (and current 12GB PS3) As for the whole media limitations, at the end of the day lack of music playback ins't a huge issue, I can't think of any time I've hugely bothered with it and I guess maybe future plans to add stuff like Spotify and such anyway. the DLNA is a bit of an issue mind, but given my PC is usually a huge cock about streaming I just copy things onto flash drives to play anyway. One thing of note is so far I've seen folks complain about the lack of CD playback, but nothing about the lack of analog video output.
  8. 900p is the media point between 720p and 1080p. 1080p is over twice the resolution of 720p, so you'd be asking for quite a lot if expecting 1080p to be the next step up from 720p.
  9. Are these two intended to be part of the same statement cos
  10. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-10-29-titanfall-will-remain-exclusive-to-xbox-one-360-and-pc-forever Microsoft has confirmed that it still has a blank chequebook. Hooray! I'm kinda curious how it's going to work with PC given MS are getting rid of GFW and GFWL. Also it seems Respawn weren't wholly in the know that EA had gotten an exclusive deal with MS until recently which I'm sure will make them feel very cosy at their new home. edit: mindfart. EA. which means Origin, not GFW.
  11. I assume a job perk? *Doesn't fully grasp what is being shown*
  12. Movie poster for "An Adventure in Space and Time". They obviously quite enjoy doing this whole "movie poster" kind of thing.
  13. Cos it was less than £4. Which means if it's shit then it's just out of Trading Card money. It'll be a while til I get around to it though. (maybe 2014, depends on my pace with other titles)
  14. If the cost of building a pre-built is less than buying individual parts + your time, then yeah it can do that.
  15. I'd take a stab in the dark at it being "High", though if your "realistic PC" is one that costs as much as a PS4/Xbox One then "Potato".
  16. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-battlefield-4-next-gen-vs-pc-face-off-preview And now Digital Foundry wades in with a BF4 comparison. And holy hell is the PC way and above the other two.
  17. Seven Psychopaths Some good chemistry, good actors. Slightly unpredictable despite the hugely unsubtle nod between the film and the film within a film relationship. Of which I think our favourite part was the bit in the car pretty much reciting exactly what they were doing at that time and why it was a bad thing to do for plot.
  18. Yeah I've done similar before now, just I'd already blown a hole in the wall as opposed to leaving the door open. I'm non-lethal, but I'm not exactly subtle.
  19. So I'm not overly far in, just gotten the brain chip from the police morgue. Broke my way in. So so far not noticing many huge changes. Mainly subtle, or so subtle (and so long ago) that I'm not noticing them. The weapons DLC stuff, that in the main game just lumped the shotgun, silenced sniper, explosives, etc on you at the start now has them in the factory for you to stumble upon. I guess I'll report back after my first boss fight. One big issue with replaying this game is in Detroit you can get a bit ahead of yourself with going places that don't matter until the second time you're there. Also the areas are quite a bit larger than I remember them being. In fact I think one of the minor subtle changes is less transitions between places. Though I might just be imagining some of the loading transitions.
  20. http://imgur.com/a/s94SC#0 Various fused pokemon and inspired artworks.
  21. The DVD/Blu-Ray stuff doesn't amaze me too much, even to date you've still got to manually get the updates to play various media files on your PS3. Welcome to the world of licensing. And 300MB isn't that huge either, current firmware updates for PS3 are about 150MB last I looked and as noted already it's drastically lower than Wii U update. Out of the box it'll play your games. If you want to play Killzone on MP you'll need internet anyway, so requiring a download to play online isn't a huge biggy. At least it's not like Xbox One which has to strip out "functionality" because they'd plastered all the DRM stuff into it already.
