Yeah, the gunfight ruined the mood due to a rather large amount of shooty-shooty action already this E3. I'd just like to have a game that's not really hugely violent. PRetty much every AAA game involves shooting of some kind.

Not running out of rope n chairs, but as pointed out at the bottom of the article, people might oppose capital punishment if they were to see folks swinging in the breeze.

Yes they were asked about the whole Red Coats as enemies thing. And yes they responded. They responded to it with "The Templars are enemies". Not really answering the question. One might say they're... pussyfooting around the whole "why the fuck are you just killing red coats?" topic. Though they did go on to further expand upon this to say that you'll be fighting both two legged and four legged enemies. Templar wolves obviously. And the video:

Kind of a shame they're still pussyfooting around the whole "why the fuck are you just killing red coats?" topic. Also I love assassinating people with galleys and cannons, and stealthily galloping across a battlefield to take out my targets before they know I'm there.

Yeah, I'll be honest a lot of it seemed heavily scripted, so it might not act the same way out in "the wild", but it seemed pretty neat with like the reactions to *click click* "I know that sound". And nice to have it seem like bullets are somewhat scarce and that maybe you're a bit of a shit shot. Unlike Uncharted with M4 ammo all over an ancient ruin.

Oh, missed the "good" there. Read it as "I don't have high hopes for a PC release." (I guess mainly cos I'm seeing a lot of folks saying it's for PS4/Xbox 3)

I shall just link to this and you can quickly figure out my sentiment. Pre-rendered, slow-mo trailers of zombie games have a bit of a stigma that Ubisoft apparently didn't catch wind of.

So you can now use tablets to control your Xbox. Do MS just not want you buying controllers anymore? Also they said that browsers on consoles are hard to use, then the way they used it was with a Windows Phone instead of with a controller. Which is why they're hard to use. Cos websites aren't build for controllers. So yeah, they solved nothing and on top of that solved it with IE. Still. Smartglass looks kinda neat, shame that Windows 8 had to become really fucked up and useless for Desktops for it to work. Tomb Raider isn't looking too bad. Dunno how she's setting the arrows on fire though. Still squeals a bit ...weirdly though.

Halo 4 did look pretty pretty. Bit Lost Planet with the glowing orange enemies, but there's only so much you can do for weak point design (same as red barrels). Shame that Kinect has gone from a camera to a very expensive microphone. I guess it's one way for developers to be able to stick a Kinect sticker on the front/fill in deals with MS, while putting in very little effort. Yay. Bing, My favourite video game!
