See thing is despite Tennant being Scottish he puts on a rather decent english accent. There's only one occasion where he uses his own accent: And yeah Tennants first full episode is also the first Xmas special. With regards to the Christmas trees it is worth noting that yes it has time travel, yes it has aliens. It is not "sci-fi" in the strict sense. "timey-wimey" is not a strictly scientific term. (nor is "the suns gone wibbley"). It is a show that airs at 6pm on a Saturday and has a main focus upon kids. Though Moffats stuff does bring it up to a more twenties+ friendly level. So yes there's episodes with killer xmas trees, and aliens that fart a lot cos of a compression field they use. (And there's also an episode centred around a monster created by a child as part of a British kids show/institution Blue Peter competition which didn't go down so well) But there's so much more. Martian Zombies, shadows that eat you alive, the family of blood, the face of boe, the daleks, the master, Stormageddon dark lord of all, aquatic vampires, Queen Victoria, Shakespeare, Pompeii, etc etc.

I posted this a few pages back but I'm now gonna add it to the first post. The red head, Amy Pond, would be with "The New Guy". It's the shortest route to get caught up since there's only 2 series with him in up to now. It's also a good watch if you're into Sherlock as they have the same writer. Starting from Tennant isn't entirely recommended as Eccleston and Tennant are tied at the hip via Rose. But Eccleston is only in for one series so it's not too much of a bother, not a bother at all since it's all rather enjoyable (apart from the slitheen) Basically how much time do you have. Watching Matt Smiths stuff only is about 25 episodes as opposed to the 80~ you'd have with watching all the new ones, Eccleston to Smith. You get a fuller, rounder experience if you watch them all but no one would blame you if you only watched Smiths stuff. You can always go back.

Earlier than friday or you're in trouble.

I'd assume Peteer is one of the few on this forum where region locking is really important.

Games with no replay value that you keep playing anyway

I'd argue that stuff like Tetris and PAcman are replayable. And in fact that's entirely the purpose of them, they had to be replayable or people would only put in one quarter into the machine and be done. Sure they have no story to be changed, but there's the constant stuff of getting to a higher level, a higher score etc. They're not games you play once then be done with. -
Ah, yeah I'm definitely fingers. On both. p.s I swear there's a thread on this topic of controllers already. If not I'm probably gonna split this off on its own.

I'll chime in on the i5-2500K too. I built ben a PC pre-Skyrim and he wanted a high end i7, but since his budget was spreading I felt that'd be one of the quickest areas to trim the fat. A look around at benchmarks and the 17-2600K n the i5 were pretty much neck n neck apart from when it came to stuff like Photoshop batches, where there was a more significant difference than the 1-2fps shown in game(and that's not always to the i7's favour), but the £80 or so savings made up for the 8 seconds he might lose out when messing with Photoshop, and was massively well and ahead of the C2Q he had at the time. I will also back up MasterDex that the high-end GPUs are basically sucker magnets. The only reason I look out forward to a new fastest n greatest is because everything else becomes cheaper. Once again have a look at benchmarks, Tomshardware is a great resource, look at the games you'd be interested in and the performance difference. The resolution of your monitor can be a big factor too. If it wasn't for the fact I like my big 17" I could go to my smaller, and lower res, 19" and probably eek out a bit more fps in my games. I can't back up MasterDex claim about non-stock coolers helping the life of your CPU but I can back up that they tend to be much quieter which is always nice. I love the sound of my netbook, i.e none. Then again a totally silent PC would scare me, no sound to know it's coming to life. One thing yet to be mentioned is PSUs. They're the heart of the PC. You can make your Frankenstein from the brain of Einstein, the arms of Michael Phelps, legs of Usain Bolt and the voice of Morgan Freeman, but it's all for nought if you skimp in the heart section. Make sure it's of a good brand and fits your needs. It's my experience that you should be able to get recommended wattage ratings from Nvidia n Intel, I'd assume ATI too. @Masterdex: I think you GB'ed your TBs.

http://www.popsci.com/science/article/2012-01/monkey-embryo-mashup-results-first-primate-chimeras Monkeys made from several monkeys. Part of the importance here is that monkeys are primates.

It should be like above, using the media icon (the three polaroids next to the speech bubble n spoiler button), and putting the URL in the "media URL" box. Make sure it's the full length URL, not the short one, or a playlist URL(they might work though), or just the video ID etc. Make sure if you're just manually putting it in that you have just the text of the URL, and not a functioning URL(as in it's not underlined n blue). I'm unsure of this in other browsers but for Chrome ctrl+shift+v = paste without formatting. And should come out as so:

Yeah it's a bit odd that I love RPGs, but their length makes them impossible to finish. I do like short 12hr or so games that have the feeling of accomplishment, but they're also somewhat depressing in how quickly they can be burned through. Especially as most are linear affairs. Though both Fable 3 n DXHR I've managed to complete the past year, both coming in at 30 hours a piece. Though I'll probably never finish Skyrim I have gotten 180hrs in it already. Most of the shorter 12hr type games tend to be on console. I think it's part of the trade-in mentality there; you buy, play, trade in a week later for another 12hr affair. Whereas on PC I've noticed a fair chunk of games either tend to be epic length RPGs, repeatable casual type games, or primarily (many times exclusively, I think console only has MAG) multiplayer games. It's a hard sell on a permeanty sale of a game that might only be played once for just half a day. -
The blu-ray movies are still region locked, hence the 1 n 2s. The games are not.

http://www.getgamesg...uct/borderlands I know we're kind of slagging of Borderlands in the other thread, but for £2 it's not bad a bad deal. (Via RPS Bargain Bucket) edit: Oh and for those who don't read too good: This game is NOT a steam keycode game.

http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/01/06/the-quest-for-dark-souls-on-pc/ Here's a link with a tad more info and a petition link. Apparently it's doing rather well, though I feel it'll most likely be ignored unless it gets like 1million or something crazy. You know how publishers are with these imaginary sales figures.
-
I did that in my first save and it's become a problem whereby: Opening this chest seriously dampens game performance I have to quick save before using it in case I accidentally hit R There's not enough cash on the vendors should I want to just sell it all anyway. My current Orc I've made a point of selling on most of my stuff, my "to sell" loot box is mostly just the really really expensive items I end up picking up/creating that vendors don't have the cash for even one item of. The rest of the junk is fairly easily sold, especially in Whiterun.

It was posted to reddit the other day and most of the top comments were pointing out states where that error code would be wrong.

I beat Fable 3. Since I knew about the 100 day jump I managed to raise the cash before hand (not that it was too hard, I got pretty good with property management on Assassins Creed too. I like that sort of stuff) It's all rather good, the quests and side stories still rather fun (the overall story was actually pretty good, was pretty moving in the desert) My main issue would be there was a large amount of hidden item quests (the gnomes, books and flowers total around 120 or so items to find) and it's all rather dull that all you can do with villagers is hold down A until they then send you on a fetch quests n hold A some more etc etc. It'd be nice to have some proper actual convos with them. And at least it wasn't over with a single tap of Y like the last boss (Which at the very least they did acknowledge in one of the sidequests) It's a good game for getting folks into RPGs, but it does mean if you're a veteran it's somewhat shallow.

Yeah it's in Riften. It's in front of the secondary entrance to the Thieves Guild.

Oh god the companions bit with the altar. It just suddenly fills up like that. And I've heard the dragon flight is extremely anti-climatic. Here's hoping "unofficial Skyrim Patch" can maybe add in sequences like that.

The Dark Knight Rises and other Bat-Topics

It's certainly a V-tol type, but I wouldn't say a V-tol helicopter type like you see in Avatar and such. -
iPad Ethan. Think about it for a minute.
