You've seen the other thread, you know what this is. MIB II's problem was it got too silly. (also it's really damn short. Only like 10 minutes or so shorter, but as I said before MIB felt short) The gags weren't exactly smart. Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith were two guys acting out the first movie, while everyone else around them kinda did their own thing. It's not even like the whole Batman/Batman Returns into Batman Forever/&Robin thing either cos it has the same director. (the again this guy has Addams Family/Values(great film, great lines), as well as Wild Wild West. So I guess it's a bit spotty) The ending was better, with the cheap sci-fi show thing to get you to the chase, as opposed to the fly which I think was a fly for flys sake, it didn't really add anything.

The Chocobo Theme does get different styles each time though. (e.g the IX one is ukulele) Just, who is doing it? Uematsu has The Black Mages and they do Rock music and it's alright. That just wasn't.

Men in Black 1. As I tweeted the effects haven't stood up too well, just the wrong side of CGI changeover. The straight man Jones and joker Smith works so well. The story is simple, it paces well, though is much shorter than I remember it being. Now to watch MIB 2, wonder where that'll end after these years.
