Annnd Battlefield 4 has been confirmed to be in modern setting... just like Battlefield 2, 3, and every game in Bad Company. All you had to do was make a sequel to 2142, DICE. That was all you had to do, and you couldn't even do that.

The mech portion of things is where it really got interesting for me. Looks neat.

It's possible that the 'Leviathan' part of the name refers to this:http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Leviathan_of_Dis.

Mass Effect 3 'Leviathan' and 'Firefight' DLC announced. Some screenshots and additional info about the Wii U version of ME3 were also released. I gotta say, the things they're going to be doing with the Wii U controller look pretty snazzy.

Season 3 has been confirmed to be 13 episodes long, and of course, people are already panicking about it. 1.) 13 episodes a season is the norm for cartoons. Friendship is Magic was definitely the oddball for having two seasons with 26 episodes each. 2.) They're making too much money off the show to possibly cancel/go for syndication. The Hub knows it, and Hasbro knows it.

I've now got the N7 Destroyer, Slayer, Shadow, and Fury - only missing Demolisher and Paladin. New classes definitely add a new twist to things, and the new maps are some of my favorites (Rio in particular).
-
Managed to unlock the N7 Shadow with some credits I had stockpiled. This is quite possibly the most fun I've ever had in multiplayer - I'm essentially cloaking and killing things with shadow strike, then recloaking just a few seconds later. Very aggressive playstyle, but very fun.

Bastion's on sale right now for 3.74. Grab it while you can.

Looks like the rumor ended up being true - again. Really digging the Paladin, I always did think the omnishield in Lair of the Shadow Broker was stupidly awesome. Also think it's awesome that the Slayer (who I assume is the Phantom lookalike) might be able to go toe-to-toe with a Phantom now. NINJA FIGHTS AAAGGGGHH.

Can't believe I missed this.

Hell of a lot better than the originals. If these had been the endings in the first place, I doubt anyone would have bitched about them.

Remember that Rainbow Dash reaction image I posted a while back? I had another image turned into a vector. Source: GOTTA GO FAST.

And now for something completely different.

The maps are always one of my favorite things about content updates. As I said, it's simply a rumor, but a multiplayer Vancouver and London would be great. I'm especially interested to see how they would do Rio, considering we don't go there at all in the campaign.
-
So, chalk this one up as a rumor until otherwise confirmed. Worth noting that this is from the same guy who has leaked previous info and has been right about it, so he's got a good track record thus far. I'm rather interested in the classes and what they might do, and new maps are always nice.

This is somewhat mesmerizing. If you're having trouble figuring out what's what: G1 Ponies, from left to right: Posey, Sparkler, Applejack, Firefly, Twilight, Surprise. G2 Ponies, from left to right: Sweetheart, Melody, Starlight, Patch, Bright Eyes, Clover. And what G3 might have been like, if it ever had its own form of the Mane 6:

Yeah, for the most part (aside from launches), Blizzard servers are usually extremely stable. They had prepared for a lot of folks attempting to play, but as they said in their apology letter to everyone who bought Diablo 3, they didn't prepare enough. And while part of me understands why it's always online (to prevent hacking and modded weapons, which would massively screw with the real money auction house), I do find it a little silly that there isn't at least an option to play offline.
