That's how Diablo 2 was, and that's why the skill system is the way it is in Diablo 3. They're trying to prevent people from only ever using 2-3 builds, because those are the only 'right' ones. It's more about player choice now. Demon Hunter is a lot about kiting and resource management. I wouldn't call it an easy class to play (to me, Barbarian and Wizard are both pretty easy), but it's rewarding once you figure it out.

Folks who were in the closed beta (like me!) get a special sigil to use for their banners, as well as a Feat of Strength. I already know my first character will be a Monk. My BattleTag is Vargras#1702, so some of you can add me once the game goes live.

Are PS3 players getting screwed again? I hate these events not coming to the PS3, due to some technical issues re PSN apparently. Bioware actually specifically mentioned that in the post about this weekend's event. Apparently, you guys haven't been getting them because Sony hasn't approved the promotions, and until they do, you guys are left out in the cold.

In other news, there's another event this week - Operation Resurgence. Folks playing on the two new maps will get bonus exp, and as long as you play on either of the new maps over the weekend, you'll get a pack the following week that has one of the new races in it, guaranteed.
