You love Mass Effect and you have a girlfriend who loves Mass Effect. Sounds like a keeper in my books. And not one of the gross green ugly ones. I'd say more, but I think I might make you guys horribly jealous. Needless to say, in multiplayer, she is the Quarian Engineer to my Krogan Soldier. And she also has the M-99 Saber. And won't use it. Le sigh.

I think Tali's emergency induction port was hilarious. Oh god, that line. My girlfriend is a huge Tali fan, and now every time we go to a restaurant with straws, she calls them 'emergency induction ports'.

I don't care what anyone says - Mordin, Legion, and Javik practically steal the show when it comes to lines. Grunt's got some pretty great ones too, and probably has the most memorable line in the entire game. "I don't need luck. I have ammo."

FYI, if you beat a Reaper map on Silver or higher over the weekend, your commendation pack will contain one of the Collector's Edition weapons at random. Looks like you've got a chance at getting the N7 Crusader shotgun, N7 Eagle pistol, N7 Hurricane SMG, and N7 Valiant sniper rifle. No mention of the Valkyrie assault rifle. Limit of one squad pack per person, so you only had to beat it once to score the goodies.

I don't think it's necessarily that - I mean, the Earth Systems Alliance has their own little slice of space, which isn't technically Council space, yet they still follow the Council's laws. The way I see it, the Terminus Systems are akin to the American Wild West. Sure, it's basically still part of the larger whole, and SHOULD be subject to the laws as a result. However, the place is entirely too big to properly enforce, and those that live within it simply don't give a damn about the laws.

Guardians are the sole reason why I keep the piercing mod on my heavy pistols. Fuck your shield, I have armor-piercing bullets.

The more I read and the more I see, the more I'm convinced that the whole 'Indoctrination Theory' thing might be legit, and that Bioware is trolling the shit out of us. In regards to TheMightyEthan's link: I'm sort of indifferent, really. Though the endings were a bit of a let-down, I'm not putting all of my eggs in one basket and going "THEY BETTER CHANGE THE ENDINGS OR ELSE". If they do change the endings, cool. If not, whatever. Doesn't affect me too much one way or the other. If anything, I'm just happy that they're aware of what's going on and that they're listening.

Just a quick FYI (because I have it too) - the Widow can shoot through thin walls and obstacles, as well as the 'bullet-proof' glass that's on some maps. Abuse it. All the fun weapons are heavy. Scorpion and Falcon both weigh a ton.

I err.. wait what? You can buy Veteran/Spectre packs with Bioware Points instead of credits, but considering how easily you can get credits, it's kinda pointless.

It's still random, but they supposedly upped the chance to get the race/class combos from crates.

Spectre pack, unfortunately. Both Asari Adept and Krogan Soldier are classified as rare, and the Spectre packs give you a guaranteed rare. It's not uncommon to get multiple rares in the same Spectre pack, though. You might get other goodies out of it too, like one of the N7 weapons.

Recruit packs are the easiest way to get human customization options (human characters are ranked as common, which you typically get from recruit packs anyways).

There's lots of things from Faust we'll probably never see because she's no longer part of the show/it would never get approved - someone asked her on DA what her viewpoint was on Applejack's parents, to which she said that she thought of them as being dead. Of course, being a kids show, they would never approve that.
