How much does it cost per month? While it is an issue of transparency, the real issue is letting people like myself know where things stand on a real-time basis. Something you should update weekly (if you care to keep the site running)—or per donation if they don't come often. Or use a donation tracker if that's viable. I've participated in ventures like this in the past. That is to say, very small community forums and servers that ran solely on the generosity (or some other trait) of the one running it and a few diligent members who could stand to fork over the occasional fiver. Generally, donations and interest will eventually become too little to support the website if activity wanes. But the issue I'm getting at is that there needs to be some visual representation of what's going on for people who may be interested in donating. One that's relatively up-to-date, and one that's inclusive insofar as relevant information is concerned. I shouldn't have to ask. That isn't me saying shame on you for making me ask. It's me saying it should all be there for the sake of those interested and transparency. Because, well, you want to encourage donations, yeah? Heck, if you could get it on the front page of the forum (and maybe the website depending on your standards) that'd be your best bet.

I can't because I don't like any of those Final Fantasy games. Edit: But really, I've spent a lot of money this month. It's help if there were a better visual representation of where things stand.

Just spent an hour or two fully exploring Hoelbrak in Guild Wars 2, which is probably my favorite capitol city thus far. Most of the screenshots in this album are from that snowy peregrination.

I didn't care for anyone on the list. And my growing spite doesn't want a female doctor. Richard Ayoade might fit, though.

Games still come on disc. The most recent I have is The Witcher 2.

I actually asked LP for a commission once, but no deal. The lass on the right is from Disgaea or, uh, Phantom Brave, isn't she? What about the one on the left? I've commissioned . . . seven or eight thus far. Not counting book covers. I try to practice moderation.

Not sure where else to post this, so I guess I'll post it here. Just received the character art that I commissioned a few weeks (or longer?) ago: I think it turned out well for a character with no real reference beforehand. Her first real depiction in anything but prose. I'm happy with it, I think. I returned to Jennifer Healy for this one, since she did a damn swell job on a prior piece. I'd recommend her to, well, anyone, by the way. Her prices are affordable, and she's very obviously comfortable with her craft. Take a gander at her gallery.

For me it's less an issue of content than the genre to begin with. I never got too far in Odin Sphere, FDS. I tried it (literally) on five different PS2s and with two copies of the game. The notorious framerate issues were too much for me. I am generally into cooperative experiences, which is why I was looking at this game to begin with. It's just that $50 is pretty steep.

I was until I saw the asking price. Just doesn't seem justified given the type of game it is. Seems more based on the art and it being published by Atlus. I could commission some decent art for $50!

I might be slightly more enticed if they didn't resort to name dropping. Still, I'll keep an eye on it. Double Fine's games have been sorely overrated in my opinion, but they might manage something entertaining if they can live up to all the pomp of this one.

PS All Stars had some god awful gameplay, but I did like some of the cast.

Ouch. Well, thanks for the thought, man. I am earnestly looking into buying the game, so if you decide you want to give it another chance I'd love to play with you.

W&S: While that is a generous offer and I have been salivating over the idea of playing the game, I already have an account. Have you registered it yet? If not, I'd be willing to pay you for it if you'd like to get something out of buying it to begin with. Why'd you never get around to playing it anyway?
