    Whatever the relationship, I'd welcome her back. It'd be neat if you could have her as a traveling companion, too. Not that I'm expecting any of this at this point (aside from the choosing between Yennefer and Triss as it'd just seem silly not to include it at this point). And I didn't get the reference.

But I do remember him spending a lot of time with her. Didn't something happen where she was on her own for a long time? And I suppose you're right about Triss. No argument there. Though I still don't know which I'd go for between the two. @W&S: Mhm. I don't think I've genuinely looked forward to a game since The Witcher 2. It's a shame this is CD Projekt RED's last Witcher title, but I can understand their wanting to move on and bringing an end to the story. I actually re-downloaded the game today and started another playthrough when the power went out. Man, my video card fans scream when the game is running.

    I know it's all conjecture at this point, but how gnarly would that be if it were Ciri? So very! Plus, well, how old is she now? I'm not sure, but she could be a potential romance interest if she were in the game. I'd probably choose her over Triss or Yennefer. As far as choosing between Triss and Yennefer . . . well, that's a damn difficult choice. I can't really say I'd definitely go for one over the other. Like you said: Triss seems to genuinely care for Geralt and I've come to appreciate her in the games. But there's the sort of sempiternal bond shared with Yennefer, and so much of what's happened with Triss could possibly be attributed to his amnesia. I don't think it invalidates what they seem to have, but it does bring into question where his love for Yennefer stands at this point.

    I actually have no bias, here. I generally buy AMD processors because they're cheaper. But it is what it is. : \ Dean's explanation makes sense anyway.

    Oh, man. It was pointed out on Reddit that the other rider on the cover of GI could be Ciri! O: Also, EB Games won't get the new GI for a couple weeks.

    But why are they using AMD as the benchmark for PC processing when it's so very often crap compared to Intel?

    It also makes more sense given that the game centers around the Wild Hunt. I've always wondered how Triss and Yennefer play into the whole story. I mean, generally people don't like multiple romances (unfortunately). So I feel like The Witcher 3 is going to make your decisions romantically inclined at some point: choosing Triss over Yennefer.

I'm going to chalk that one up to Game Informer feeling its more pertinent to its readers for now, but I'll stay wary.

    Heh, I haven't done any grinding and I've been okay. It's just that I kept making stupid mistakes on that mission and it would frustrate me which would have me rushing through and stepping on mines which would frustrate me more. Rinse and repeat with greater frustration.

    It was the mission where you're stranded with what's-her-face that got me. I ended up doing that one like fifteen times.

    I need to get back to that. I'm on mission 14, so I'm nearly finished. Funny thing is that it's somehow "rare" in Canada as there's no Greatest Hits edition. So I can trade it in for the same price I bought it at.

    Merill is the same way. I actually suspected her of being Burmese or Asian because of her disposition despite the foster parent just telling me she was a generic domestic short hair. I've never been around such a sociable, affectionate cat, and I've been around many.
