  1. This looks neat, nifty, spruce, spiffy and rousing. Unfortunately, I think I'm going to have to wait for a sale. >: I do like what I've seen. My backlog is just too large, though.
  2. If I don't like a game's DRM, I don't buy it at all. On any platform. Unless I buy it used. Pretty much because of what Yantelope said: "I suppose the counter point to this is that they didn't really lose any sales from us because we bought it on the console anyway."
  3. So I can once again blast my kpop in the car. Also picked up an Asuka deck case.
  4. I dunno. I don't like the hack 'n' slash punt-em-ups, anyway. I just liked King Bohan and Kai enough for the rest of the game to mean nothing to me.
  5. I still haven't finished the first. It was when it initially came out. I was having trouble with the bomb. No longer have a DS now.
  6. Yes! Heavenly Sword! King Bohan and Kai are such lovely characters.
  7. Because real men like breasts. Pretty sure "real men" wouldn't be playing the game at all by their standards. x: Not enough manshoots and explosions. I went back and beat The Witcher 2 again... @TheCowboyPoet: Interlude was claimed to be around 15 hours long. I haven't looked into it since release.
  8. The combat is fairly similar. There are improvements(?) and changes, but you'll recognize it. It's definitely easier for the rhythmless folk out there.
  9. I didn't read the manual. | : I used what I thought was common(gaming) sense.
  10. I marked them as spam once in Gmail, and that took care of it. Haven't seen them since.
  11. There have been "plans" for a while, unfortunately. >:
  12. I ended up with five or six vigor at the end of the game, depending on what gear I had on. There are talent points that increase your vigor.
  13. I beat him on hard by insta-kill. That was pretty much it.
  14. You people need to learn how to fight. P:
  15. "We like to say we have 16 states of the world that you have at the end of The Witcher 2. It's not like 16 different cut-scenes. The last chapter, there is a big summary of what you have accomplished in the game. You will get that. You will see results of some early choices from hours of gameplay past. "There are of course two or three huge differences. But there is a bunch of... I don't like to call them small because sometimes there is a country on the map and sometimes this country is not on the map. But in the scale of The Witcher, sometimes these are the smaller consequences." Source
  16. *shrug* If you don't like it, don't force yourself through it. I found myself biting my lip at times during the beginning skirmishes. Looking back, I'm glad they were there. The game didn't open with shitty one-hit-kill rats in basements. There's a learning curve here, and it's apparent. It's not because it's a bad system, though. It's because it takes(for me) time to wrap yourself around its contours and wield it in a way that both works and suits you. Well, on the "hard" difficulty. I'm not sure if it's rats in basements easy on the lower settings.
  17. Hopefully the latest update allows you to change key bindings. I did have some trouble with use and attack being bound to the same key. Maybe you're right about the lack of user-friendliness, Dean. It doesn't really explain many things. I did have to ask about mutagens. Aside from that, most everything was picked up from the first game. For me, it just got better and better as the game progressed, though. Combat came together in ways I didn't expect it to once I'd customized my character more.
  18. @Dean: You didn't have to pick them in order, Dean. I died twice, and started over. Then I picked them out of order and it still let me watch them all. @Duke: Fuck the ending. God, what a... UGH. @Johnny: I really can't say I had any of those problems. Though being attacked from behind does do 200% damage.
  19. I've had this Totori Nendoroid and this Kirino bauble on pre-order for frig knows how long. I only just remembered because I'm moving soon. Decided to check my pre-orders to see if there would be any issues since I'll be in another country. Thankfully, the latest is the month before I go.
