I was using Patrat and evolved him to Watchog, but found he was lacking in comparison to other Pokemon I was catching. I've since replaced him with Gurdurr and have been using him since. At 3rd gym now, so this may change. As much as everyone hates Purrloin, I've kept at it and evolved mine to Liepard. I think I like her more than Lillipup and Watchog, but that's just me.
