  1. Got my code from inFamous 2 so I'll be giving this a bash tomorrow... Anyone who fancies anyone awful to play with just add me on PSN, my name is on my profile (leave a message stating who you are on here unless it's your PSN name as well, just so I know who is who )
  2. Just got my copy in the mail, I am so excited. Anything by Suda 51 is enough to get me excited, the other names attached to this project and the reviews that have been coming in have only served to get me more enthusiastic
  3. All that fanfare for the Sonic Generations demo and it took me a whole three minutes... Wow. Well, time to crack open the seal on Shadows of the Damned then.

Well I guess it couldn't hurt, but you only get one level as "old sonic" and that's it..

  4. Perfect gift to myself for finishing College http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3743575/OoT3DS.jpg awww yeah

If I'm not on when you're back, I'm probably at my friend's place playing BlazBlue. I'll try to be on msn on my phone though, assuming my battery lasts.

  6. I'm on a roll at College today, ticked off so many tasks! BOOM. Not long till freedoooooom.

  7. Yeah, I saw this. Pretty much cemented my decision not to buy it. I was never into Duke Nukem like other people were anyways, though like I said above, I did just buy Duke Nukem 3D to see what the fuss was all about. I do feel sorry for Duke Nukem fans who were really looking forward to this though, it's a shame
  8. I wonder what their justification is for this one.
  9. It looks like it's just gonna be over-the-top, balls out nonsense, and I'm up for that from time to time. I'm keeping an eye on it but I'm not mega hyped just yet.
  10. rabbits are new since 1.0.4
  11. I've seen all the videos on it, I've seen peoples reactions to it here. This is how I reacted:
  12. Yeah, I was interested because it was apparently a 2D minecraft, but it's a lot more. I love exploring caves and stuff, and there's a lot more progression.
  13. I'll get in on that :3

      toxicitizen

      Pretty much, yeah.

Didn't bother me too much, though, since I have zero interest in the 360. I only watched out of a greater interest in the industry in general.

Also to kill time until the other conferences. lol

  14. I did that the first time, but after that I realised I was gonna fuck over way too many times to warrent restarting every time it happens So, I just completed the game. It was a great game. Like, the most compelling game I've played in a long, long time.
  15. Yeah, Final Fantasy XIII is one fantastic example of how not to make a tutorial (and I might argue, how not to make a game). I think a great example of how to teach players how to play the game is the Grand Theft Auto games and Red Dead Redemption. You're pretty much taught as you play with little pop ups during missions and free roaming and it ensures for a very, very smooth learning curve, to the point where it doesn't feel like a tutorial. As for the actual question here, I much prefer to be taught the game while I'm enjoying it, like Grand Theft Auto did, and like, as Johnny mentioned, Portal did. I don't much mind reading the manual when it is needed but I enjoy it a lot less.
  16. So I got this the other day, just got onto the Vice desk... Such a great game.
  17. Trying to get back into Demon Souls, still as unforgiving as I remember. I'm so bad! :(

I certainly will stick with it, thanks for the pep talk! I'm determined to finish it one day!

    4. 「Advent Chaos」

      「Advent Chaos」

I read that as "Demoman Souls"

  18. I was pretty impressed with the gameplay video, it looks like it could be a lot of fun and not as mindless as most zombie games where you can just get by shooting everything and smacking whatever runs at you without having to worry about becoming fatigued. I will continue to be interested in this game :3

Lol it's kinda hard to explain and I get this question a lot. We finish "high school" at 16, but can't go straight into university (USA's College) so we do something between 16 & 18 (more education if we want to go to uni, get a job if not)

So is it like a boarding school but you go home on the weekends? Or something?

Nope, I just go in from home whenever I have lessons.

  23. It feels weird, I was nine years old when 9/11 happened, and now after all this time the man who is said to be responsible for it is dead. However, I'm not naive enough to think that Al Qaeda are going to surrender, or that this is a true victory for America. Yes, it's a victory for justice and a small victory for America. People are ecstatic that he's dead, and with good reason, of course, but the real problem is what is going to happen next. Al Qaeda aren't going to just lay down their arms now. They have a martyr and someone will step up to the plate and I suspect there'll be some more serious (not 9/11 serious, but serious) terrorist attacks in the near future. However, enough with the pessimism. For now, let us rejoice that the man responsible for claiming the lives of thousands of innocent people has finally been dealt justice after ten long years. See you in hell, Bin Laden.
