I would like to point out that I was born *after* the moon landing...wait, that probably sounds even worse.

Your life is over. >:

I'm older than Luigi but younger than Mario.

I want one good console game with drop-in/drop-out meaningful co-op, that allows split-screen and multiplayer (at the same time, even). Something like Borderlands or Dungeon Siege III. (Had Dungeon Siege III had both good local and good online multiplayer.) Hopefully that's enough of a heads up for Santa, since December's still a ways away. (Related note: Was bummed to see Borderlands doesn't allow split screen and co-op simultaneously.)

Whoo. Made our flights, in Florida with the parents for the next few weeks. Finally had time to play a game, and actually got around to finishing Alan Wake. What? The ending the first 98% of episodes 4-6 were great, but the ending was super anticlimatic. Did I miss something?

Congrats!

Honestly, play into the two DLC chapters. Better gameplay than anything in the retail levels.
I didn't think the conclusion was that great
his wife's safe but he's stuck in the dark place. Great. I really feel like the story has concluded.
. The DLC helps, honestly, it feels much more finished after the two specials.

Holy Crap...what's wrong with me. I started doing a little jig because there was an earthquake in Chiba just now, and I wanted to move around so I didn't feel the shaking. I had an epiphany that I was basically doing same thing as the "Panic Dance" from Ghost Trick. Once I realized that, I tried to copy it as best I could. It's nice to have a bit videogame humor mixed in with my terror...

Thanks, you two. The nice comments, and my brain's levity in what is a truly frighting situation, actually do have a bit of a calming effect.
Out the door tomorrow morning on a long trek to Narita (because the express train is down), and looking forward to being able to breathe easy for a change...

Be safe okay, and after you make sure the family is alright you can help people in need.

I've had my fill of very strong aftershocks, scheduled blackouts, reactor explosion, radiation fears, product/fuel shortages and unpredictable train schedules... I went ahead and picked up tickets for my family and I to go stay with my parents in Florida on Friday for a few weeks. Looking forward to the change of scenery.

Keep reading from my cell phone, planning to reply to multiple things when get back to my PC...just a bit too busy with work and family at the moment.

Enjoying Alan Wake enough...but feeling like I've gone a few days too many without some form of multiplayer gaming.

Alan Wake is fucking amazing. I hope it did well enough for a sequel.
-
I don't think it did at launch :/ however, they did bundle it in the 360 S pack with Forza 3 was it? Hopefully that helped Remedy a lot. I think a sequel could easily be a far better game than AW itself; the DLC was phenomenal in comparison with the retail game.

Loved Alan Wake, seriously want a sequel.
