Definitely. Also, looks like that tweet was inaccurate. Miyazaki clarified that Dark Souls III isn't the final game in the series but more of a turning point. They actually mention possibly dropping the fantasy setting and even mention sci-fi as a possible genre for future entry, which is fucking music to my ears! You and I both know you'd be getting it day one regardless.

So far the PC Gaming show is surprisingly decent! Day[9] is a pretty good host and the more talk show-like structure is more interesting than the usual format these things follow. If they actually have some good reveals and announcements and maintain this level of quality, this might actually be the best show of E3 for me. edit: Oh shit, Microsoft actually just announced that the Gears of War remaster is coming to PC! Not the most exciting title but it's a start!

Ideally: announcements of high profile PC releases like Halo MCC, Final Fantasy XV, etc. This is not happening. Realistically: Esports stuff like StarCraft 2, Dota 2, LoL and the likes. Some indies, which is at least something and could be cool. And probably a whole bunch of nothing. I really hope I'm wrong, though.

That's really not saying much, everyone had better showings than EA. In terms of games shown, I thought SE was among the better conferences. It would've been on the level of MS and Sony if they hadn't been so fucking stupid and kept all their reveals for their own conference. Especially the FFVII Remake, like what the fuck, that was their biggest bombshell and they gave the reveal to Sony.

What is the point of announcing projects so early in development that you literally have nothing to show? Especially when it's a completely new IP and not a highly anticipated project/sequel or whatever. You just know these games are most likely going dark right away and not showing up again for years.

Sounds like they were hired specifically because it's more of an action game. That's very much their specialty, so yeah, they can handle it. Also, I just found out that the campaign in the new Star Fox is by Platinum as well?! So many upcoming Platinum games and none of them are Metal Gear Rising 2.

They reshowed their trailers from yesterday AND they're announcing two fucking mobile games. Amazing.

Since the initial reveal, it's had "not gonna live up to the hype" written all over it, imho. But you're right, 20 bucks is kinda low, I suppose. Maybe 30-40 would be more reasonable but at 60 bucks I'm out and 80 bucks is just downright fucking insane.

Wait, No Man's Sky is a retail release? For some reason, I thought it was a smaller, downloadable game. I figured it'd be like 20 bucks or something. And just like that, all my interest in it is gone. I'd say "I'm not paying 60 bucks for that" but looking at Amazon.ca it's actually 79,99$ here, which is all kinds of WTF. Okay, that was pretty badass. Closest they've ever come to topping that Uncharted 2 E3 demo. Also the Shenmue III kickstarter is already past half a fucking million. O_O Bloodstained might get dethroned pretty fucking quickly at this rate.

So, are they going to close with Uncharted 4 again? That would be pretty disappointing. I mean, I'm sure whatever they show of Uncharted 4 is going to be great but I hope they have something new to finish it off. And seriously, what's the point of showing the same games multiple times? Well, yeah, it's low as far as the game's actual needed budget goes. That's probably like Bloodstained where they need to raise this much to secure their real funding. I meant high relative to other kickstarter goals.

I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't give a shit about Shenmue. I really don't get why everyone is so obsessed about it. I tried whichever one was on Dreamcast years ago and it didn't seem all that great.

I'm surprised by how much it looked exactly like last time. Maybe it was the stream quality but it even kinda looked like a PS3 game. I'd figured it had to have gone through a serious overhaul or something. Wonder what the fucking hold up was. Horizon looked interesting enough. Doesn't look like an RPG at all, though. Isn't that what the leaks said? I got kind of an Assassin's Creed vibe from it.

So, the two main fake rumors we get every single year are both back in full force this year. People are adamant that this is the year that both The Last Guardian and Final Fantasy VII Remake come true. I seriously hope that neither happens because the meltdowns on NeoGAF will be fucking glorious. edit: Well, shit.

What I want to know is whether it was already localized (or even partially) and they've been sitting on it for all those years or if they actually went back and localized it recently. If it's the latter, that might suggest Mother 3 being next is fairly likely, which is pretty cool.
