Really? I thought the XL looks a lot better than the normal, the start/home/select buttons are better, and the stylus is in a convenient place. Either way they're both garbage compared to the Vita. Right, Strangelove?!?!?!

Get the XL. The regular 3DS feels like a toy and has some design issues. Ideally they'll release an XL-style 3DS in the size of the normal 3DS.

Playing through the Assassin's Creed III King Washington DLC. A little steep for $10 x3. However, it's great to revisit AC3. It's still my favourite game of that franchise. I never quite understood the hate on this game. Yeah, it took too long to get to actually playing as Connor, but the Haytham stuff was fun! I think that was just a problem of marketing, since no one really knew you'd spend a good 1/3 of the game as someone else, I can maybe understand the disappointment. There was also some problems with some mechanics (crafting) not being properly explained. But other than that, it was an Assassins Creed game, the tree running felt great, the frontier was awesome, and things the game tried to do, like having snow actually change the game world and the way you traverse, worked great. Not to mention how often do you see an actual First Nations character, played by a First Nations person, in popculture? Especially considering the way the treatment of aboriginal people in that area has been glossed over, it was great to see that represented. THAT SAID, the DLC is pretty good. I always prefer DLC giving us new areas to explore, like the Fallout/Elder Scrolls DLC (well the good ones). This DLC gives us an interesting enough story, and new gameplay mechanics, so Ubi has managed to keep it interesting. Just for basically half the price of the game, not really enough new content here. This would have been great as 3 $5 DLC packs, or one $15.

None of the characters really clicked with me, not the way Lee and Clem did, but maybe that'll change once we get to know them better.

Walking Dead 400 Days... Pretty good, I'm assuming the whole thing was a set up for season 2.

I actually really enjoyed TDKR on my first viewing. But maybe it was just the excitement of seeing what happens after TDK because on second viewing I noticed all the problems everyone else had. Maybe I'd like it again if I watched it a third time..... It just felt way more of a sequel to Batman Begins than TDK, which maybe was an easier way to go but it just reminded me how average Batman Begins was compared to The Dark Knight.

Fallout New Vegas x3. Last summer I finished the Yes Man ending, this past few weeks I did all the DLC and the NCR, Legion, and Mr. House endings. Going to do a couple more missions before moving on with that game.

I KNOW! My girlfriend is not going to want to sit there and watch me play a 16-bit SNES game for 4 hours every night for two weeks. But this is the kind of shit I want to play on the Wii U tablet. Super Metroid on the tablet controller? BALLIN'

I love how, except for sales, all the NES and SNES games on Wii U have had standard pricing, with SNES games being 7.99. But they finally release Earthbound and they jack the price up on that game for no reason. I understand they're a business and they're entitled to do this, I just think it looks bad. That's what I like about PS+ though. I don't play online often enough to warrant paying for an Xbox Gold account, but I like having it there as an option for the odd time when I want to play online. PS+ though, is worth it even without the online play. So even though I might only play a couple hours of multiplayer a month, I'm still getting value for PS+.
